In this routine service, they made a great customer success experience for me with thoughtful care and following up with details. I couldn't imagine the B2B service company can make this kind of customer success! Also, Fidel exceeds my expectation, always. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** Hum...well I couldn't tell something 'dislike' but more flexible functions are demanded. But most of the inflexibility is coming from network card companies, so it's not only their matter. **Recommendations to others considering Fidel API:** If you are considering a sort of card-link service, Fidel would be the best partner for you. I've reviewed all others but Fidel has a more competitive edge. Also, I've got the recommendation of Fidel from one of the major card network companies. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly, gathering all transaction data from 3 major credit card networks is not an easy job, if I enrolled in each network. I was supposed to build my backend system to merge them, but Fidel provides the data in real-time. Also, once I had an issue, Fidel understands my situation more than I did and solve the issue with the network card company. Moreover, Fidel develops new functions, like reimbursement, and I start using it to my customers! Fidel looks not just a service provider but a true partner. ### 2. Solid API. Fidel is the only company right now that offers developers the ability to build with real-time transaction data. Fidel also provides a higher degree of data quality - i.e. more accurate merchant names - so developers don't need to spend time trying to enrich and clean their transaction data sets. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** The webhook documentation could be more clear for developers as it's a tricky part of integration to ensure transactions are updating to include a tip or being removed if an item has been returned. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fidel is solving our biggest pain point. Our users want their transaction data quicker than any other company can provide -- Fidel allows us to offer it to our users in real-time. ### 5. The javascript API was a doddle to set up. The Fidel dashboard itself sets the company apart from competitors we've worked with. It's really easy to use and we can find everything we need to keep our integration running smoothly. Access to support and help from here is also a pleasant experience, with help on hand usually within hours of reaching out. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** I'd love to see more options for the front end of the integration for our site. While the UI is customisable through the JS SDK, it would be great to be able to use it in a way that is more seamless with our user journey and UI. Potentially having more reports on insights from the dashboard would be useful. We've built a lot of these ourselves for reporting but a simple report page here would be great (how many new cards were added, daily/monthly transaction values etc). **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping us with customer acquisition and closing the loop on a visit to certain businesses. Understanding customer spend habits is invaluable to us and will help personalise our experience further in the future. ### 6. One of the biggest complaints from our users, when we utilized Plaid, was that they had to wait sometimes up to 24 hours for their transactions to come in. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** We would love Fidel to have an Amex integration at some point. We have a lot of Amex users. **Recommendations to others considering Fidel API:** I would advise any consumer-facing app that is utilizing transaction data to work with Fidel. We have had a lot of issues with Plaid data and connection. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fidel will allow us to give instant transaction data to our users so they can split their expenses much quicker in our app. ### 8. Fidel put a beautiful UI in front of what is a very manual and sometimes frustrating process. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** For higher spending customers, it is even more important to provide a seamless user journey. They don't want to have a clumsy and awkward process, so simply being rewarded when spending with your card is great. ### 9. We've thrown many complex problems at the team and have always found meaningful solutions jointly at the end. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** The indirect relationship vis-a-vis the card networks can sometimes make getting things done harder vs. directly being able to push the card networks on proposed product changes. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fidel provides a one-stop service to capture credit and debit card transactions that can be used for fintech applications like offers & rewards, transaction insights, etc. We use Fidel API for qualifying and processing card-linked offers. ### 10. Decisions from Fidel side can take quite long. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our customers use the credit card linking of Fidel to claim their benefits of our customer loyalty program. By using Fidel we eliminate the use of our physical loyalty cards during the purchase process. ### 11. I would like to see an API/SDK specifically to support building their experience within a progressive web application. Specifically, they don't support capturing a credit card through a mobile camera. This is only supported with the mobile API. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are working with a client that wants to award members for shopping at approved merchants. Fidel API provides that service which we can then integrate into their loyalty application. ### 13. The Fidel team is very responsive to our questions via chat or email, and willing to help us drive product innovations. **What do you dislike about Fidel API?** This is NOT the fault of the API itself, but it's very difficult to achieve 100% reward delivery for CLO-based offers, due to the complexity of tracking credit card transactions. **What problems is Fidel API solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fidel API allows us to offer CLO-based offers to our users. It has the potential to bridge online promotions and offline conversion, providing great insights for optimizations to merchants. ### 14.
