"Reliable and Up to date"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fedora?

Fedora is one of the most Innovative and Reliable distros in the Linux world. Fedora is one of the leading distros that adopt more recent open-source technologies and integrate them well. For example, Fedora was one of the earliest distros to support and ship technologies like BTRFS, Wayland and Flatpack by default in their distro. Despite being a rolling release, distro Fedora's packages are well-tested and properly Integrated, which makes Fedora very Reliable and Up to date.

Apart from the Fedora workstation (Their leading Desktop Linux with Gnome DE), they also Release and support Community spins with Various other Desktop environments such as KDE Plasma, Cinnamon, Xfce and more.

Fedora also has other editions, from Fedora Server to Fedora Silverblue, and All in all, Fedora is an excellent Linux distro that fits well for any use case Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fedora?

Fedora, by default, only includes fully open-source software in their repository, which sometimes leads to a bad user experience as we have to manually enable RPM Fusion repositories to download non-open-source software such as NVIDIA Drivers.

Although Fedora's Flatpack addresses this increasing software availability, sometimes there is no choice but to manually look for and install software from other sources.

The default installer could be a bit complicated and not very user-friendly, especially when trying to manage disk partitions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
