Bleeding Edge **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Tyler W. | DevOps Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018 **What do you like best about Fedora?** Fedora is always one of the first OS' to get updated fixes/patches/etc. Fedora is bleeding edge and releases a new major version every six months. **What do you dislike about Fedora?** While bleeding edge can be a pro, it is also a con. Attempting to support older releases of Fedora is a nightmare. Currently, I have infrastructure that was spun up only a year or two ago on an already out of date, not supported release of Fedora. It was due to this that I switch to CentOS (LTS supported for 5+ years). **Recommendations to others considering Fedora:** If you need bleeding edge, choose Fedora.
