I like how the site is organized and objective for the activities I want to list and publish

The interface is very intuitive, it is not cluttered with unnecessary information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

The biggest downside for me is the video player. It's too slow to watch something and to upload. Sometimes it gives an error that the upload never ends and you don't have the option to delete and repost while this "upload" is happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Favro - one of the best ways to manage projects"
5/5
What do you like best about Favro?

Favro's flexibility to create spaces for your teams/projects in a way that conforms to a highly polished and slick looking design aesthetic, while allowing lots of flexibility when it comes to defining a workflow. The fact Favro doesn't force a workflow, while also not making it feel like a huge chore to create something is the winning combination. Along with that, Favro's ability to have tasks/todos shared across different projects within the organisation really allows you to create better meaning and relationship, as it's rare for a task to truly be a single task for a single person, they are ahead of the curve and understand that teams work together and collaborate. Another strong point about Favro is its collapsible views. Normally projects can become quite bloated over time without a means to filter down to what you really care about, but Favro allows you to minimize the backlog of categories that may not be relevant to you, but are important for that scope/project. This gives team members a lot of freedom to only focus in on what matters to them (for example an animation board) and keeps everything else tucked away, out of sight until you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

I think Favro is missing a better-looking roadmap/timeline view with a full-page view, the letterbox window and it is not utilising the full page can be quite a problem, along with the small scroll bar to navigate left to right. Also, the lack of a dark mode is an oversight in today's tool generation, and should be a high priority. I dislike the slightly clunkier usability of making parent/child todos in table form, as it requires a lot of clicking/dragging to add new items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Favro has a lot of options for an organizational tool."

What do you like best about Favro?

I like the ability to set tasks for different categories and move things visually.

It's also great if I needed to I can see what others in my organization are working on. Although I don't know if we all use Favro in the same way. But it personally serves well to hold and organize different projects and tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

While Favro is very robust I find it sometimes a little confusing in the small details such the timeline and date requested areas.

Not an issue, but I wish I needed to use all the features Favro provides. Maybe someday I'll figure out my best needs and methods, but for now I'll stick to cards and moving them to my different columns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Favro?

Cards across many boards is a great concept and the rich text editor in cards is much better than Trello Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

The Favro team seems to prefer introducing new features all the time but they never take the time to finish the core features.

Some examples:

* The only way to change the order of cards in e.g. Kanban columns is drag and drop and automation also cannot change the order

* There is no way to sort on dates (last changed, added) or even set the date to the current time in an automation

* Keyboard navigation is frustrating - tabbing out of a members fields just adds more random people to your card

* Converting checkboxes to cards does not add links to the new cards in the "parent card" so the new cards are lost in space

* The "parent-child" concept is only one-way

* You cannot have different views for a single board in different collections and no one can understand how to set the view for a board to affect or not affect other users

* Scrolling in Kanban is for the entire board instead of per column as in Trello

* Moving a card to a Kanban board puts it in the first column and you need to manually change the column as another step

* The card text editor requires multiple mouse clicks to put the insertion point in the right place

* Cards have short names (XXXX-1111) that are unusable and cannot even be used in search

We see a lot of potential in Favro but much of the time we just curse at its user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Dovidas Baranauskas of Favro

Hi there! Dovidas, product expert @ Favro here. Thank you for your review.

We are truly working on updates to keep the tool updated with the newest requests, but it is important for us also to keep the released updates relevant, hence we recently updated our Timeline view. Regarding your examples:

* According to what would you like the automation to order the cards? Or would you want to have sorting option in a kanban?

* You can sort cards by timeline or date field that you add and fill in.

* Unfortunately we do not have a lot of keyboard navigation, most of them can be seen via our shortcut menu by pressing H. Others would be a new feature.

* The new cards that are converted from checkboxes become child cards of the parent card, and can be seen in the sheet via under the parent card.

* That is true, would love to hear ideas how would you like to see the child-parent concept.

* You can always have 2 browser windows or use shareable links to share the board to anyone or have it side by side. Regarding the views we are in plans to improve that.

* As you mentioned the feature is in Trello, there was no requests to implement this in Favro, but feature suggestions are always welcome.

* With the help of automation you can trigger it to go to any wanted column.

* Would you be able to provide any examples?

*You can search cards by their short name in the Search bar at the top right corner, it can vary depending on the search options you have set up.

Per we would like to have a call with you and discuss your ideas and suggestions what would you like to see and be improved in Favro.

What do you like best about Favro?

I love to reach the boards easily, adding cards is very easy.

The Colorful layout is beautiful and lastly adding/creating tags.

Easy to copy and paste of a url of a task Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

It is so buggy, favro is removing the fields without notifying. And impossible to pull a report

If we could get a report monthly or weekly it would be great.

In my opinion, bugs should be reported to Favro team and should be fixed.

Favro should be better at handling big project task which has more than 200 cards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Dovidas Baranauskas of Favro

Hi there! Dovidas, product expert @ Favro here. Thank you for your review.

- We personally do not remove any fields you create. If you would have any examples we could review it.

- Reports can be created from the custom fields you have in board, they can be added in the report from Advance search and exported if need be.

- We do have our Canny page where you can submit all the bugs that you find. https://favro.canny.io/bugs

- As Favro is a cloud based, web solution, there are some limitations on how much data the browser can load in one time, so it can not handle more than 300 hundred cards per one load.

We would love to have a call with you and discuss more on these issues and provide suggestion, solutions on how this could be improved or fixed. Please contact us at customersuccess@favro.com to arrange a meeting.

"The reason we use Favro is the ease of adapting workflows and setups for all our different projects."

What do you like best about Favro?

Changing scheme and templates without impacting the cards and boards in other collections - creating a parallel but separate division between projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

Basic business features are missing:

- Billing email

- Subgroups. Aka groups being added to other groups.

And the way to big hikes in "user buckets". The bucket system blocked us while testing and feeling out the application for a while. We are still ready to put more users on it. But we are afraid of hitting the mark like 51 users and paying for 100.

We see this as one of the better platforms, but we are still using Jira for the most part, and our business leads are blocking us from fully migrating until we have billing emails as a bare minimum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Favro?

Forms are very useful, automation, cards and charts maybe. Permissions configuration. I use many different functions for each area of the company. With Favro, it was possible to establish visibility and tracking of the executive's actions linked to activities in different areas. Its flexibility allows us to refine our processes to increase our productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

What do you like best about Favro?

What I like the most about Favro is that it is intuitive to use. It's visual, like Trello, but it also has the best features of Jira. I think it's ideal for art-related projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

I still don't know how to archive things properly. Or what to do with old boards that I want to hide but not archive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice task tracker that is constantly growing more features"
4/5
What do you like best about Favro?

We've received great personal support. Favro has a designated webpage for posting issues that have been found or even asking for new features and voting on ones that other users have suggested.

Generally, the UI is very welcoming and doesn't scare off even the most task-tracking-averse people of our team. Even though it offers quite a wide range of features, it still feels simple and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

Unfortunately, we still encounter many bugs in our day-to-day work with the tool. Some are minor, but others really require us to find some workarounds.

Favro doesn't handle large amounts of data very well, and we frequently need to wait for tasks to load. Even more frustrating are the bugs that are related to this, where, for example, search results are incomplete, or sub-folders appear empty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
