* Easy to use and customizable UI. It is very intuitive to navigate, especially when compared to other project management tools.

* Multiple boards within a single collection. Think of it as boards within boards. It may not sound like a game-changing feature, but it is.

* Poor integration with JIRA. Some teams rely on JIRA to get their work done, and Favro does not play nicely with it.

* Cannot apply templates to newly created cards (templates can only be assigned to an entire board).

Favro is very fast to set up and the pre made templates mean you can get started instantly. Favro has the ability to import existing projects from an Excel workbook which was very useful. Visually, Favro gives a very clear and simple breakdown of tasks to be completed in whichever view you use, although we favoured the kanban. It can take time to explore the many automations available, but these are easy to use once explained. Notifications can be slow to come through and it is hard to see where 'mentions' are when using the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I personally like the customization, we have a many boards, and they seem to all be set up differently, and each team has their own custom process for what works well. The custom views per user are important too, I use Sheet view the most, it helps me, as a Scrum Master, keep an eye on the sprints, and add total Story Points and Timesheets easily, while others on my team will exclusively use Card view because they find it the most useful for their purposes. Nesting cards within the backlog has become important as we create Epics with broken down cards within those Epics - new functionality that brings the main card over to the backlog has been convenient. We've run into a number of bugs on our boards which are frustrating. Our Cumulative charts display incorrectly, our Story Point Totals functionality in each lane inconsistently displays totals from specific columns instead of the total for the whole lane.

Another challenge we run into a lot, when we convert a checkbox entry in a card, to a new card, we usually want to also link that card where it originated - it's become a bit of a tedious practice to, convert to a card, and attach the card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of things to love about this software. I'll list a few;

- As Simple or Complex as you need | The interface itself is lovely. If you're used to tools like Trello and feeling like you need just a bit more, this is it. You can get the simplicity of Trello with the capability of being as complex as you need. It's more than just boards, there are many types of planning "structures" you can work with.

- Incredible Design Team | The team has been working *with* it's users to provide a unique and streamlined planning tool.

- Automations | You can AUTOMATE things, yes! It's very nifty too, allowing you to not only automate when things happen *inside* the editor, but you can hook up to their API and use Webhooks as well!

There isn't much to complain about honestly. When you do have a complaint, most of the time when you reach out to the team they're already working on it or are open to making changes. (I've had many implemented just from suggesting a feature, it's kind of wild to see a team this engaged actually.)

I will say though, I'd like to see improvements on the desktop/mobile version, and a dark-mode. The web application works very smooth, but the other two could definitely use improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Favro is easy to use and very customizable. I have used it in two companies (software and hardware development) and it is adaptable to the organization. It is also easy to maintain thereby integrating well within my day-to-day workflow. I like that the views adapt quickly to anyone's workflow and help visualize the information so quickly. I do not like some of the formatting within cards (bullets & tables can be frustrating to get right). I end up linking to Google Sheets or Docs sometimes instead.

Some of the templates seem to be focused heavily on software development (we do hardware also) and so we end up defaulting to a basic Kanban style and building it from there. The best thing about Favro is that it's been designed with collaborative work in mind (both with internal teams and with clients) – the ability to manage multiple boards from a single workspace, invite clients as guests (rather than users with extra fees for seats) is massive.

The ability to drag items between boards is fantastic, as is the intuitive UI and easy to use features – and the realtime Google Calendar integration is incredible.

There are a few features that would be a huge plus, such as creating folders for collections and a little more customisation of icons – but the platform also has great user feedback mechanisms and is constantly rolling out updates, which is awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
