## Fathom Reviews
 ### 1. Effortlessly Captures Meeting Insights, Needs Enhanced Non-English Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love using Fathom because the AI summaries are surprisingly accurate and concise. The free tier is generous, making it really easy for us to adopt. The Zoom/Meet/Teams integrations work seamlessly, so the bot just shows up automatically, removing any friction. Sharing clips and highlights via a simple link is super practical for keeping everyone in the loop. The speaker identification works well, attributing notes accurately to who said what. I also appreciate how Fathom automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes our meetings, allowing us to share in Slack and Notion. It's especially useful for important calls where capturing decisions is crucial. The integration with Slack and the ability to link with Notion for project follow-ups is fantastic. Fathom removes the burden of taking notes manually during meetings, letting us focus on the conversation, and automatically extracts action items to ensure nothing is missed. Sharing key moments via timestamped clips is great for giving context without needing to watch a full recording, and it really shortens the loop between a meeting and follow-up actions. The setup was trivial, with less than 5 minutes needed per user and no IT involvement. It’s also awesome that once connected, the bot joins meetings automatically and records are prepared within minutes, which is a big win for sales calls.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Transcription quality drops with strong accents or noisy audio. Spanish (and other non-English) summaries are still less accurate than the English ones. The team workspace features feel less mature than what specialized competitors like Gong offer for sales coaching. And in some calls the bot showing up automatically can feel intrusive, an option to ask for explicit consent at the start of each call would be welcome.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings, allowing us to focus on conversations without manual note-taking. It extracts action items and lets us share key moments via clips, improving follow-up efficiency and keeping everyone informed.

 ### 2. Fantastic AI Meeting Summaries, Transcripts, and Post-Call Q&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s very unintrusive when it joins my meetings, and the automated AI summaries are fantastic. I also love that there’s a button to easily copy everything into a Google Docs format. The recording quality—especially the transcript—is excellent, and I’m particularly impressed with how it automatically identifies who each speaker is.

My absolute favourite feature (actually, there are two) is the ability to ask Fathom questions after a meeting. Once the meeting is over, you can ask Fathom about what was discussed, and the AI reviews the transcript and answers your questions. That’s incredibly helpful from a sales perspective when you need extra detail to understand what the customer is feeling, and it’s good at identifying pain points.

I also like that it has one-click buttons to generate summaries for different use cases, such as a project review meeting or a discovery call.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There are a couple of downsides. In particular, when I’m using Fathom on the web, there’s a bug that seems to have been around forever: if you watch a video in full screen (or even half full screen), the button to switch it back disappears, so it’s hard to change the view again. More generally, the video player itself feels low quality and slow. When I jump backward and forward, it gets a bit glitchy. Overall, I think the video player functionality needs to be improved significantly.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom saves us so much time. I’m the sales manager, and during sales calls I don’t feel like I need to actively take notes. Instead, I can engage directly with the customer, knowing Fathom will have a recording of exactly what was discussed. After the call, I can ask Fathom to generate specific notes or pull out the next steps, and it makes follow-up much easier. For me as a salesperson, and for our sales team overall, it really helps us stay in the moment and focused on the core conversation while saving a lot of administration time.

 ### 3. Excellent Meeting Summaries That Keep Me Focused

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aviv N. | GRC Enterprise Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most is how accurately it recognizes and transcribes Hebrew far better than other solutions I’ve tried in the past. The summaries are clear and concise, capturing the key points and action items exceptionally well. It allows me to stay fully focused during meetings instead of scrambling to write everything down in a notes app or a physical notebook while trying to listen and actively participate in the conversation at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don’t like that Fathom shows up as a participant in the meeting. If it could work without joining the meeting as another participant, it would be even better.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me by summarizing the essential context of the meeting. In addition, even if something important is missing from the summary, I still have the recording and transcription, so I can rewatch it, search for specific words, and ask the AI feature specific questions about the content.

 ### 4. Effortless Meeting Recorder with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah P. | Adminstrative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like how Fathom automatically enters all our meetings when I set up the extension. It can join Google Meet and Zoom meetings automatically, based on my settings, even if I'm not hosting the meeting. It takes notes and, with the free version, breaks them down into summaries and action points, which is great. This allows us to focus on the meeting instead of worrying about note-taking. The initial setup was very easy, just download an extension, set it, and forget it, which is really great. I've been very satisfied with Fathom.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It will include chit-chatting in the note summary. It can't always recognize that was just us chatting and not actually about meeting.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to record meetings and take notes. It automatically joins allowed meetings on platforms like Google Meet and Zoom, summarizing and creating action points. This lets us focus on the meeting rather than note-taking.

 ### 5. Excellent tool for productivity, interview experience for candidates & more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle L. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I find myself asking more questions in conversation than when handling the same process manually. Having access to a general summary, Question & Answers, and the full transcript is handy when using Copilot to compare a candidate's resume, their interview responses, and the employer's job description. The final result is a candidate summary that clearly explains why the individual is a good fit for the position they are being recommended for. I use Fathom daily.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Fathom offers integration with Zoom, Teams, and several other platforms. I initially began using it with Zoom, then switched to Teams, but eventually returned to Zoom because I encountered too many technical issues on Teams.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom enables us to cover more topics simultaneously when interviewing candidates. Knowing that Fathom captures everything allows me to focus on candidates' responses.

 ### 6. Seamless Auto-Summaries with Action Items—and Handy Playback Links

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashanti G. | Support Coach (Dating/Relationship), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

How I literally do not need to take notes and how the app seamlessly summarizes all the important points discussed. It does a way better job than Gemini notes and comes complete with action items, key takeaways, topics discussed, etc. without having to "clean up" the notes which is still required with Gemini notes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is nothing I dislike about it. Today I just discovered that beside each note point it takes, you have the option to click "play" and I presume this will take you to the exact point in the video where the information about the note was mentioned. This is super useful because it means you don't have to watch the entire video and try to guess where that specific point was mentioned.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of having to take notes during calls, which distract from being fully present during a call. It makes me more productive and saves time as the notes are concise and do not need to be edited. They provide an accurate snapshot of exactly what was discussed in the video in a bullet, summary format.

 ### 7. Fast, Insightful Meeting Summaries with Seamless Teams Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gwenaël S. | Marketing Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is very useful for summarizing meetings and getting clear insights. You can jump to a specific part of the meeting just by clicking on a sentence in the transcription, which is really convenient. It also works great with Microsoft Teams. The recap is generated very quickly, and the free plan is enough for my use. The AI features are very helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I have nothing to complain about with Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me summarize meetings, get transcriptions, and pull out insights and bullet points.

 ### 8. Auto Recording and One-Click Sharing Make Meetings Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Auto recording, summaries, and ability to send the recording and notes to the meeting team members with a single click.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Settings are very controlled, Cannot edit much beyond the integration. Not at the current level I have right now. I struggled a little when we had an email address change at our company and had to get assistance from support. They were VERY helpful and managed to get everything migrated over. But it would have been nice if I could have done that with a profile change/update.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huge help! Now I can focus on my meetings knowing that the note taking is done for me as well as the recording and I no longer have to remember to start the recording!

 ### 9. Accurate Meeting Summaries and Effortless Action Items—A Quiet Time-Saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

One of the best tools I’ve adopted in the last couple of years. The meeting summaries are genuinely accurate, the action-item capture saves real time, and it runs quietly in the background without adding friction to calls. It’s also easy to share with coworkers. I’m on the free model, and from what I can tell, it doesn’t have storage limits.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Occasionally, the transcription quality dips on calls with heavy accents or poor audio, but that’s a minor gripe.

What I don’t like is that it shows up as an extra person in the meeting. We have a lot of coworkers who use it, so we end up with lots and lots of extra notetakers just sitting on the call.

It also sometimes has a pretty big delay between inviting it and it actually joining.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves auditing
I like that I can watch the videos back unlike a tool like granola because our meetings often involve screen sharing and demos

Allows me to go back and review meetings

 ### 10. Accurate Hinglish Transcription and High-Quality Meeting Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhay M. | CEO, Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

There are two features which I particularly love:
1. I love how accurate it is, especially in Hinglish, which a lot of audio models are not. I love how accurate the translations are from Hindi to English.

2. The quality of meeting notes, transcript, and action items is really really high quality and it's very versatile. It works across a lot of meeting platforms and has a lot of integrations and plugins so overall it makes for a great meeting product

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing comes to mind at least right now. Maybe it could have been better with slack integration

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of taking meeting notes

 ### 11. Call Summaries That Make Documentation Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carie B. | enrollment coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The summaries of my calls have been a game changer for documentation and capturing accurate and relevant information. What used to take 15 minutes and sometimes be difficult when time had passed between calls and having the time to enter the information in the client record, now can be done with a simple copy and paste. It does a fantastic job of summarizing, including all the important details, as well as next steps and action items.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I haven't run across anything thatI dislike about Fathom yet.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing accurate and comprehensive notes from sales calls that is significantly reducing my post-call documentation time. It's also ensuring that nothing important is missed.

 ### 12. Effortless Meeting Summaries That Save Time and Improve Follow Ups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education and teaching content. My daily work includes online patient consultations, follow-up discussions, planning diet changes, and reviewing next steps after meetings. Fathom fits perfectly into this kind of work and honestly makes meetings much easier to manage.

What I like the most about Fathom is how it automatically understands and captures the whole conversation. During a consultation, patients talk about their routine, food habits, challenges, and goals. Fathom quietly listens in the background and later highlights all the important points on its own. This feels very helpful because nothing important is missed, even small details.

The meeting summary is one of the strongest parts. It clearly explains what the meeting was about, what was discussed, and what needs to be done next. For example, diet suggestions, lifestyle advice, follow-up planning, and next actions are all neatly written. This saves a lot of time and avoids the need to rewrite notes after the call.

Action items created by Fathom are extremely useful. It automatically picks up tasks like sending a diet plan, scheduling a follow-up, or making specific food changes. Seeing these points clearly listed makes post-meeting work more organized and stress-free. It really helps in keeping track of responsibilities.

Using Fathom is very simple. Once it is connected, it joins meetings automatically and starts working without any extra steps. I do not have to press record or worry about taking notes. This makes it comfortable to use regularly during consultations and discussions.
Integration with Google Meet works smoothly, which is important because most consultations happen online. Everything stays in one place, and past meetings can be revisited easily when needed. This helps maintain continuity in patient care and clinic documentation.

Another thing I appreciate is that Fathom focuses on what actually matters. It does not overload with unnecessary features. It listens, understands, summarizes, and organizes the conversation in a very natural way. This feels practical and well designed for real work situations.

Overall, Fathom genuinely improves the way meetings are handled. It saves time, improves clarity, and allows me to focus more on the patient and the discussion instead of note-taking. For consultation-based work, follow-ups, and planning next steps, it has become a very helpful tool.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I dont have any major dislikes with Fathom so far. Sometimes the summaries are very detailed, so it takes a quick scan to focus on only the most important points. However, this is easy to manage and still much faster than writing notes manually.
Overall, these are very minor points and do not affect how useful Fathom is for handling meetings, summaries, and follow ups.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my daily work, a big challenge during online consultations and discussions is managing notes while also giving full attention to the conversation. When patients or participants are talking about their routine, concerns, and next steps, it is difficult to listen carefully and write everything at the same time. Important points can easily be missed.
Fathom solves this problem by automatically capturing the entire meeting conversation and turning it into clear summaries and notes. This allows me to stay fully focused on the discussion instead of worrying about writing things down. After the meeting ends, all the important points are already organized and easy to review.

Another problem Fathom helps with is follow-up management. During consultations, many action items are discussed, such as sharing diet plans, planning the next follow-up, or making specific changes. Fathom automatically highlights these action items, which makes it much easier to remember and act on them later. This improves consistency and reduces the chance of forgetting important tasks.
Fathom also helps save time after meetings. Earlier, I had to spend extra time rewriting notes or summarizing discussions manually. Now, the meeting summary is ready shortly after the call ends. This saves time and makes post-meeting work much smoother.
For online and remote work, Fathom adds a lot of clarity. I can go back and review past meetings whenever needed, which is helpful for tracking progress, checking previous discussions, and maintaining continuity. This is especially useful when managing multiple consultations or educational discussions.

Overall, Fathom reduces manual effort, improves accuracy, and brings structure to meetings. It helps keep discussions organized, makes follow-ups easier, and allows me to focus more on meaningful conversations instead of documentation. This has a positive impact on my day-to-day work and makes meetings more productive and stress-free.

 ### 13. Effortlessly Streamlines Meeting Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charo S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really like that Fathom makes my life a lot easier by eliminating the need to take notes during meetings. It's an efficient tool that saves me time by automatically extracting action point items and creating structured minutes of meetings to send out to attendees. I'm very happy with how quickly the minutes are sent out to everyone right after the meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I would love to have a Fathom app on my phone. I know it's underway, but I hope you can expedite it. It's not 100% accurate, and I think we can do better than that.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom makes my life easier by eliminating the need to take notes and extract action items. Meeting minutes are quickly sent to all attendees, saving me time and keeping everyone updated.

 ### 14. Accurate AI Transcripts, Spot-On Action Items, and Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay S. | Inbound Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

- accurate AI transcripts
- perfect & precise action items and summary email by the AI
- minimal setup effort or troubleshooting
- easy to navigate with simple UI/UX
- good integration with Zoom, Google Meet,
- Mac desktop app helps with joining calls in case of impromptu meetings

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

- sometimes it doesn't join the call on time
- would prefer an option to record calls even if I'm not the organizer, idk why this is a limitation for only some calls
- the desktop app glitches every time there's an update or even randomly sometimes

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- notetaking & meeting summary
- keeping track of action items post a call

 ### 15. Fathom let's me focus on what's important - being present in the meeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley M. | SDR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a sales professional, I like Fathom's floating review/highlight panel - helps me identify key moments in the call without being distracted so I can focus on my prospect and deeply listen. I'm also loving the "Ask Fathom" feature to prep easy follow-up emails or get quick context before attending a call.

Super easy to set-up as well, I never have to worry about it joining my calls. They also don't spam participants with in-call messages or automated follow-ups which I like. They also integrate meeting notes directly into Hubspot which is a big win for us.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

You can't save prompts in their Ask Fathom feature - would be super helpful to have a standard prompt library that our team can use, especially in a sales environment where SDR's are handing over to AE's and need to prep handover info after a demo.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I'm on a sales call and trying to understand a client's need and challenges, I need to be present and engaged in the call. Fathom allows me to forget taking notes and simply focus on the sale. Post-call, it's saving me and my team a lot of time not having to write manual meeting notes or draft follow-up emails. We're very new to it, but the call coaching feature seems pretty exciting.

 ### 16. Invisibly Powerful: Fathom Lets Me Stay Fully Present With Clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I love most is how invisible it is while still being incredibly powerful. I can stay fully present with my clients — listening, coaching, holding space — without worrying about taking notes or missing key moments. Fathom captures the essence of the conversation for me.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

As with any new tool, there was a brief learning curve, but the experience has been smooth overall.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of having to choose between being fully present and taking good notes. I no longer worry about missing important details, decisions, or insights during meetings. Because everything is captured and summarized automatically, I can stay engaged in the conversation and trust that nothing is lost.

The benefit for me is more presence, better follow-up, and significantly less admin time. I’m able to review sessions quickly, remember exactly what mattered, and serve my clients with more clarity and care — without rewatching recordings or scrambling to document everything afterward.

 ### 17. Effortless Meeting Capture and Smart Tasks—A Recruiter’s Dream Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

So easy to use, captures my meetings which is super helpful for me as a recruiter and hiring person who hosts intro calls every day. Fathom offers unbelievable amount of integrations, which is super cool for automation of stuff that I see after calls. I have not encountered a single problem, even on a free plan, and I will definitely go for even paid version just to explore. Onboarding was super easy and its intelligence is on another level, really gets sense of what happens in the meeting, creates tasks for after, I am super amazed with it!!! It has not once failed for me and I will keep using this fast super cool tool.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing, everything is cool. I can't wait to get hands on new version to see all the cool stuff.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automates stuff around my intro calls, I don't have to remember stuff about candidates, I have everything in Fathom :)

 ### 18. Precise, Rapid Note-Taking That Saves Us a TON of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | Executive Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The note taking is precise and rapid. It takes better notes than we would get if we had someone assigned to the task. This is saving us a TON of time and allowing us to focus on vision and strategy knowing that the notes will be waiting for us when we are done. We will use it on EVERY Zoom meeting from now on.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be great if we could use it for in-person meetings separate from Zoom but we haven't found a good way to make that work yet. It may be possible, but we haven't figured it out.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team is great at casting big vision and iterating plans through discussion, but not as good at maintaining a clear record of what those plans were. Fathom is on hand to take all that we've thrown out in the air and bringing it down into clear actionable next steps.

 ### 19. Super Slick AI powered call recording and annotation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas W. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love the bookmarking feature and ability to summarize a call using AI, as well as the ability to pull highligted clips. I use this for sales cals, coaching calls, and pulling quick clips from conversations for social media.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The AI summaries are sometimes a little wonky and inaccurate, and I would like to be able to set up different kinds of bookmarks for different types of calls like coaching.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a really streamlined solution for analyzing sales calls effectively, as well as coaching client notes and quick clips for social.

 ### 20. Efficient Zoom Call Recorder with Detailed Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pua P. | Board Member, Academy of Media & Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love the summaries that I refer to often, and I can also send them to the participants of the Zoom calls so that they also have a recap of the call and everything that was discussed. Fathom allows me to be fully present on my Zoom calls, so I can really listen instead of worrying about taking notes or writing down important parts of our conversation. I know it's taking very detailed notes, and the summaries are very thorough. I also receive a full transcript that I can refer to and download at any time. The initial setup of Fathom was incredibly easy and fast.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There's a point when Fathom would join a call it said the call is being livestreamed, which wasn't actually true. It wasn't being livestreamed anywhere, and it was a little bit alarming for some of my clients and people who were joining the calls. So that feature, if that could be adjusted, that would be great.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom lets me be fully present during Zoom calls without worrying about taking notes. It records detailed notes and provides thorough summaries and a full transcript that I can download anytime.

**Official Response from Alyssa Edelman:**

> We hear you - that notification actually comes from Zoom, which understandably catches folks off guard. While it just means we're getting a better-quality stream from them, the language can suggest otherwise!

The good news: bot-free capture is now live, so no bot, no livestream notification. Check out everything that's new here: https://www.fathom.ai/whats-new 🎉

 ### 21. Seamless Integration Makes Note-Taking Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert M. | Head of Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love using Fathom for taking notes and recording Zoom calls as it provides good accurate transcripts that I can use with Fathom Chat or import into HubSpot tasks. I like how it's straightforward and easy to use, integrating seamlessly into my existing workflows. It's great that it eliminates the need to copy and paste conversation summaries into HubSpot, reducing unnecessary administrative work for me. Most importantly, I love that it syncs with HubSpot automatically capturing tasks that I might otherwise forget, which is a great addition to our workflow. I have become heavily dependent on it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only thing that I wish it did that it currently doesn't do is real-time conversational intelligence. I have another tool that I use like Cluely, Clari Wingman, or Copilot. Real-time conversational intelligence is probably the only thing. When a prospect or client or someone mentions specific keywords, I would love for it to pop up battle cards. It doesn't do this, and I hope that they someday figure out how to do this.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves my problem of staying present during Zoom meetings by providing accurate transcriptions. It ensures I don't miss details, speeding up my document and proposal creation. Syncing with HubSpot automates tasks, reducing unnecessary admin work and improving my workflow.

 ### 22. Intuitive, Easy to Use, and High-Quality Results—Amazing Value on the Free Tier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The product is easy to use, has an inuitive interface, produces exactly the results I want with quality captures of action items, and the free tier does everything I want so the value is definitely there!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing comes to mind. I've had a great experience all around

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's taking notes and gathering action items that are automatically summarized and emailed to all participants. It's amazing. Gone are the days of forgetting what we talked about or what action items we verbally agreed to. Don't have to interrupt the flow of conversation to take notes ourselves.

 ### 23. Fathom: Intuitive, Accurate AI Meeting Summaries with Seamless Calendar Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren T. | Executive Assistant to the CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love how easily it integrates automations with Calendar functions, joining meetings set up in my Calendar even when I'm not joining. The versatility of options that you have for going back to what was said in a meeting, from watching the recording, going to the transcript, or the AI Summary (which is extraordinarily accurate). The AI integration for asking questions and keeping track of next steps is above average. Finally, navigating through the tool is very intuitive, making it impressively easy to use. For anyone in any line of service who needs to record and share meeting recordings, and perhaps use the different registers of the meeting to be analyzed with other AI tools, Fathom is the tool to go to, which is why, after trying and researching different tools, we went for Fathom, and it is part of our everyday use.

Customer Support is top-notch — friendly, quick responders, and savvy! Fathom is money well spent!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

At the moment, I haven't found a thing I dislike. Perhaps, having to log out to switch accounts cause sometimes I forget to do so. If there's a way to toggle between accounts without logging out, that'd be great! Also being able to upload videos for transcription that be an amazing plus!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have meeting recordings with not only transcripts but also video, smart AI Summary, and Conversation intelligence integrations. It helps us optimize our Sales CRM note-taking, next steps, and actions to be taken, as well as to use the transcripts for business development.

 ### 24. Excellent Meeting Summaries that Boost Efficiency and Keep Action Items on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie M. | Chief Revenue Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Over the last year, we’ve been adding Fathom to our company meetings, and it has really improved our efficiency. The summaries are excellent. They help us remember the action items we discussed and keep track of what came up across different meetings as time goes on. It’s like having a personal note-taker and organizer on staff, making it much easier to stay aligned and follow through. Plus, it's extremely easy to use and integrate into our workflows. We use it daily.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I wish I knew how to turn this off. When we’re on Zoom, we often want to talk freely at the end of meetings without big brother recording us, but we have to send it to the waiting room just to stop it. There’s no other obvious way to stop it from recording.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time and memory efficiency. We save tons of time documenting our meetings, and our memory retention is probably only about 10% of what we get from Fathom. So with it, much more is retained and can actually be acted on. It’s also far more accurate than relying on human memory, and it lets people focus on the actual meeting, knowing notes are being captured for them.

 ### 25. Effortless Meeting Sync and Well-Organized Recordings with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince A. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Basically, I’ve tried multiple other platforms, and Fathom’s ease of use—along with its automatic sync with all my meetings, plus the recordings themselves and how they’re organized—makes me want to keep using it all the time.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only thing I’d probably mention is that when I try to copy the summaries or transcripts, I often run into an error. Other than that, everything is fine.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It basically makes sure all my meetings are logged, that I’m not missing any action items, and that when I need to go back and remember what a meeting was all about, I can do that easily. Since I have lots of meetings, this is very useful for me.

 ### 26. Stay Present in Client Meetings with Effortless Note Capture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby C. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It allows you to really focus on your meetings with clients, rather than having to pause or be distracted by taking notes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the notes that are captured are not 100% accurate or spelled correctly, but the great news is that you can always go back into the recorded video to be sure of what was said.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am saving tons of time since I can just forward Fathom notes to a client rather than take notes myself, clean them up and then send them out.

 ### 27. Turns Call Notes Into Valuable Insights and Action Items

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chichi U. | Business Strategist & Execution Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The way it summarizes notes from calls and turns them into valuable insight and action items.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The way it automatically joins meetings with the video setting on. I'd prefer it to join with video off since it's an AI notetaker and not a human whose face we can see.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of taking notes during my calls versus focusing on the talk.

 ### 28. Easy to Use, Great AI Summaries, and Free—Performs Really Well

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin R. | Customer Service Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Easy to use, great summaries, and AI applications, I love that it is free and performs very well. It's also nice being able to control who gets the summaries after

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

If they ever made the base model paid only, then I would be upset. Everything so far works great

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It captures meeting notes and makes it easy to see who said what and when.

 ### 29. Fathom Makes Post-Meeting Follow-Ups Almost Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selman . | Branch Manager & Marketing Automation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is how easy it makes meetings after they end.
I tried many tools before but this one just feels right.
The way it summarizes and groups things like purpose, key takeaways, next steps and action items saves me a lot of time.
As an IT Manager, I really like that my team don’t need to write follow up notes anymore.
Even the free version gives more value than I expected.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly there is not much I dislike.
Sometimes for very technical meetings, the summary could be a bit more detailed.
Also having more control on how the summary is formatted would be nice.
But these are small things and doesn’t really affect the overall experience.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of losing important details after meetings.
Before this, we spend too much time writing notes, sending follow up emails, or forgetting action items completely.
Now everything is already summarized and structured after the meeting ends.
This helps me and my team stay aligned and move faster without extra meetings.
As an IT Manager, it also reduces a lot of unnecessary back and forth and saves real working time.

 ### 30. Effortless Yet Confusing Notetaking Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Makenna C. | Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I use Fathom for taking AI notes in my meetings, which is really helpful because it provides summaries and recordings of the transcript. I love that it's super integrated into our Google software, so it automatically comes into meetings without me having to think about it. The initial setup of Fathom was really easy as it integrates quickly with our software and starts taking notes right away. I honestly really like Fathom and enjoy the platform.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes when you don't want the notetaker in, it can be confusing to take it out. It automatically comes in, and if you don't want notes taken, then you have to take an extra step to take it out of the meeting. Sometimes multiple people will have Fathom coming in, and so it's a bit confusing on that front.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom provides AI meeting notes, offering summaries and transcripts when I can't take notes. Its integration with Google automatically brings it into meetings, so I don't have to remember or remind myself.

 ### 31. Love the Emailed Summaries and To-Do Lists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natashja d. | Marketeer & Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The summeraries and the to do lists you get emailed

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

inlog is sometimes hard, it has an extra security log in way that I can't always get through which sometimes makes it hard for me to access my recordings

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I kan easily batch content for my clients & businesses out of the conversations I have as a marketeer

 ### 32. Easy Access with Helpful Meeting Recordings and Action-Item Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danilo D. | QA Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

There’s a screen recording of the meeting. It also includes a meeting summary that’s broken down into topics and action items.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There’s nothing negative for me to review regarding Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it now helps me to take notes on the meeting i attend to. there is no multitasking of listening to the speaker and taking down notes. i can focus on what is discussed and just review after what was taken down by Fathom

 ### 33. Fathom Never Misses a Detail—My Reliable Meeting Back-Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack A. | Creative Video Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is phenomenal at getting the specific details I need from a meeting, so I don't have to worry about missing anything important. I know it has my back, every time I'm in a meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I do wish I could...potentially have it attend in place of me. Or stay on for a meeting that I myself can't stay on for the full meeting of. For example. I was originally only planning to pop by for about 90 minutes of a 4 hour meeting. But when someone saw my fathom notetaker they said "great, yours can just stay on the whole time!" And I realized I couldn't dip at the 90 minute mark because so would my notetaker. Would be amazing if it could attend in place of me if I can only be there part of the time.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problems of me having to keep track of to-do lists out of meetings I'm in. It benefits me because I feel like I can relax and be present instead of hunting down sticky notes and GTD software like Asana and Bloom Growth to track my tasks. I get to be present, contribute, and just continue "doing" instead of worrying about a specific note.

 ### 34. Seamless Fathom + Claude Integration for Smarter Meeting Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janice P. | Agent / Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

i love that Fathom has an integration with Claude and i can access my meetings for analysis there

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I find the desktop app to be a little frustrating where it doesnt pick up a meeting im about to join or have just joined and i have to then manually add fathom to the meeting. It also takes up a lot of space on my screen showing participants to the meeting which is not necessary.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

capturing meetings easily and well and allowing me to refer back to them from multiple tools.

 ### 35. Seamless, Easy-to-Use Integration from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav S. | Sr. Specialist Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s very easy to use and integrate, and the overall process feels extremely seamless from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Maybe it’s the overall feel and look of the app, by that I mean the colors and other design choices used in the interface.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s very easy to use in Teams, or really any other platform. I don’t have to do anything manually, which makes the whole experience smooth and hassle-free.

 ### 36. Stellar AI Summaries and a Great UX for Managing Videos and Transcripts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margaret R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love having all my videos, transcripts, summaries, and my tags of the conversation in one place with great UX. The AI summaries are stellar. Their support has been responsive, warm, and valuable.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I wish that I could categorize the recordings into my own folders, or tag them in some way for easier sorting. Though they are coming up with so many new fetures this may be available and I haven't found it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Fathom so concisely and clearly summarizes my meetings, I can let go of taking notes and just be present. With the bank of meetings/sessions/etc. I trust I have a resource that holds all the information I need.

 ### 37. Fathom’s Meeting Recaps and Clickable Transcripts Are Incredibly Useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The thing that I like the most about Fathom is the meeting recaps that are provided. They allow me to quickly get a glance at what was discussed in meetings that I was not able to attend. At the same time, they allow me to quickly communicate with my clients and recap meetings. In addition to that, the transcript is extremely useful. It not only skips to the portion of the video when you click the transcript text, but it also allows me to take that transcript and use it in other tools to create resources. Fathom is also extremely simple to integrate and implement with your existing software.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside to using Fathom is that occasionally it will slow down my laptop. That's more of a hardware issue on my side, because when I'm using my desktop, I have no problems whatsoever.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Fathom is solving for me is my ability to recall the details of a meeting. For example, I had about 10 meetings last week with the same client. From meeting to meeting, there were problems we were finding solutions for, or blockers that were removed. I was able to take all of my Fathom transcripts in sequential order, put them into Claude, and quickly summarize:
- Milestones and tasks that were closed
- Blockers that were still present
- Action items for me
- Action items for other members of the meetings

 ### 38. Incredibly valuable for CSM's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has completely transformed the way I run and follow up on meetings. The automatic recording and AI-generated summaries are incredibly accurate and save me hours every week. I no longer have to split my attention between participating in the conversation and taking notes — Fathom captures everything and delivers clear, organized summaries with action items and key takeaways.

One of my favorite features is how easy it is to share specific clips or summaries with teammates. Instead of writing long recaps, I can just send the relevant section, which keeps everyone aligned and speeds up decision-making.

The interface is simple, the setup is seamless, and it works reliably in the background without being distracting. It’s one of those tools that immediately becomes indispensable once you start using it.

If you’re in back-to-back meetings or collaborate across teams, Fathom is a must-have.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly I have not had any issues. When I first started using it, it wasn't always completely intuitive how to do certain things, but every issue has been figured out with time and usage

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very helpful as a note-taker. Not having to write down action items and similar details really frees up mental bandwidth during calls. The AI summaries are impressively accurate; I haven’t run into any situations where it misinterpreted what was said. I also find the ability to search for keywords in the transcript extremely valuable. There are certain step-heavy processes in my job that I’m still learning, and it’s a big help to have a Fathom recording of the process so I can quickly jump to the right spot in the recording and follow along with the steps.

 ### 39. Friendly, Easy Meeting Summaries with Seamless Integration allows great productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

friendly and easy to use.
Simplify and assisting in covering and summarizing the meetings topics, so it contributes to the productivity efficiency by operating AI capabilities, while storing also the original data (recording).
It's free to use in its basic version, integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
No need in onboarding as it's super easy to use and the short wizard when registering is doing a great job. Support is great as I experienced so far and had also webinars for further learning about the platform.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes it's inaccurate in the action items and the assignment of the tasks to the meeting stakeholders.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

already described in the 2nd question
documenting the meeting better then I do during it (+recording) and saving time (contributes my productivity) for summarizing the meeting and define next steps and action items

 ### 40. Fathom: automatic summaries that drive productivity and collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gino P. | Confidencial, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has become a key tool for our team. It greatly facilitates the recording and tracking of meetings, as it automatically generates clear summaries, relevant points, and pending tasks. Thanks to this, we have increased productivity and reduced the risk of overlooking important information. Additionally, its integration with video call platforms works seamlessly, and the interface is simple and intuitive. In summary, it is a reliable solution that optimizes time and improves collaboration within the team.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

For the moment, nothing! it's simply great!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes is a thing of the past!

 ### 41. Fathom: Accurate, Versatile, Reliable Call Summaries & Recordings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is really easy to integrate, and the call transcription and summary options are not only really accurate, but also extremely helpful and versatile depending on what you're looking for. I can safely use the notes from the meeting in my own call log. I use it every day for every meeting. Additionally the recording and notes are a great resource to share between teammates.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don't think there is a downside! I haven't figured out how to not invite Fathom to calls I don't need it to be on (ex. quick impromptu meetings), but that is likely user error. Everything else is so easy I really just need to look into it more.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me stay present in client meetings without having to worry that I am going to miss something by stopping to take my own notes. It makes my work more efficient, more accurate, and really improves my day to day.

 ### 42. 90% Accurate Meeting Insights with Room to Get Even Smarter

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The interpretation of what is going on in meetings is about 90% accurate which is why I have it a 9/10. Some of it is gobbledegook but that's only going to improve over time .

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Some of the interpretation of the human words are creative but I have no doubt that as it learns me and my business it will refine and get cleverer.

I've also done zero training on the product so I could be missing massive gaps too!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's speeding up the time our project managers are taking notes and making the notes a lot more detailed.

We use it alongside our handwritten/ one note notes so things aren't lost by AI translation.

 ### 43. Stay Focused in Meetings with Clear Summaries, Action Items, and Recordings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is that it allows me to stay fully focused during meetings instead of constantly taking notes. I can have a more natural conversation, knowing that afterward I’ll get a clear summary, action items, the full transcript, and even the video recording of the call. It saves time, improves follow-up, and helps make sure nothing important is missed.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The main areas I would like to see improved are search and recording setup. The search experience could be better, especially when trying to quickly find a specific point or topic from past meetings. I also sometimes need to remember to manually start the recording, which can be easy to miss when jumping between meetings. Another issue I’ve seen is that when another colleague is also using Fathom to record the same meeting, it can sometimes create connection or recording conflicts. Improving these flows would make the experience even smoother.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me stay focused during meetings while still making sure everything important is captured. It solves the problem of needing to take notes manually or remember details afterward. The automatic summaries, action items, transcripts, and recordings make follow-ups much easier and help ensure that decisions and next steps are not missed.

 ### 44. Effortless Meeting Management with Minor Quirks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really like how Fathom effortlessly captures and organizes meeting information. The automated transcription and AI-generated summaries save me a lot of time. I love that I can quickly review key points or jump to specific moments in a call. It keeps me focused during meetings while ensuring nothing important slips through the cracks. The seamless integration with my CRM makes my follow-up actions much simpler. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, taking just a few minutes to connect it to Zoom, Google Meet, and my calendar. The interface is intuitive, and I didn't need much guidance to start recording or generating summaries. The prompts and onboarding tips helped me understand key features quickly, allowing me to start using it right away.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

While Fathom is really helpful, there's a few areas that could be improved. Sometimes the transcription isn't 100% accurate, especially if there are strong accents or overlapping speakers. Which means sometimes there is a need to double-check details. But, again, not a deal breaker. Also, the AI summaries can be great but occasionally miss nuance points or context that are actually helpful, kind of in the grand scheme of things for client conversations. Again, just need to spot check. And while integrations with CRM are useful, expanding that capability with more tools and maybe more customization options could continue to improve the product.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to automatically record, transcribe, and summarize calls, saving me from manual note-taking and ensuring I capture all key details. It improves follow-ups, streamlines admin work, and enhances communication clarity, allowing me to focus on building relationships and deals.

 ### 45. Total Peace of Mind in Meetings—Fathom Captures Every Crucial Detail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit A. | CEO Office, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Honestly, the best thing about Fathom is the absolute peace of mind it gives me during meetings.

I used to be that person frantically typing away, trying to catch every little detail, such as dates, deadlines, and specific client feedback, and I was always stressed that if I stopped typing to actually listen, I’d forget something crucial.

With Fathom, I can just let go. I love that it captures everything. It’s not just a generic summary; it actually grabs the specific nuances. If a client mentions a tiny but critical constraint for a project, or if my boss drops a quick side note about a deadline change, Fathom catches it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

If I had to pick what I dislike, it is the awkward waiting game at the start of a call.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I had to sum it up? Fathom solved the problem of 'Meeting Amnesia' and the massive time suck of post-call admin work.

Before Fathom, I was solving one of two problems poorly: either I was taking great notes but ignoring the human in front of me, or I was having a great conversation but forgetting exactly what we agreed to do next.

 ### 46. Call Transcripts That Keep Every Follow-Up Detail on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven G. | Strategic Business Development Representative | UKI, Nordics & Benelux, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The call transcript helps a lot, because it ensures we don’t miss a single detail when preparing for our follow-up meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I still don’t really know what I dislike, but one issue is that when a prospect sends an invite for a call, they need to allow us to use Fathom. Sometimes they block it, and that can prevent the meeting from going ahead as planned.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The note-taking helps ensure I don’t miss a single detail, so the handover is clear and complete.

 ### 47. Excellent Meeting Summaries and Seamless Teams/Meet Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederiek - Maarten K. | Head of DevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Very nice free plan, excellent meeting summaries that are automatically emailed to meeting attendees, good desktop app that allows to launch meetings. Ability to highlight specific parts of the discussion with your own notes in a live fashion. I have so far used fathom with microsoft teams and google meet, and the integration is excellent. I use Fathom now multiple times per week, for nearly all my meetings. The ability of the offline app to be used almost out of the box made it super easy to install and work with fathom. Additionally, you don't need to record the meeting, you can even use it as a meeting reminder/launcher.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

No downsides whatsoever. Obviously, the product is still under development and sometimes there are minor crashes, but nothing that made me lose work or notes. In the past I have used fireflies, and their premium features allow also live suggestions/questions in-meeting using AI. That could be a useful future feature for fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily use fathom as an AI notetaker in meetings.

 ### 48. A Must-Have Tool for Seamless Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave R. | Brand Content Director | B2B Integration & EDI Marketing , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I use Fathom for capturing and reviewing meeting notes and it helps me manage projects. I love that it allows me to spend more time listening and engaging with team members instead of scrambling to keep up with note taking. It's not just a video transcription service; it's like a time machine or memory hole with the bonus of a reliable tour guide. The transcription and next steps features, along with the time stamp on the next steps summary, are very helpful. The initial setup was super simple, and with around 11 people actively using it in my company, it's become a must-have workplace tool. I can barely (nor do I want to) remember life before Fathom. Despite my initial wariness, I now like and trust it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Video tools are a bit basic. They could make it easier to pause, go back 10 seconds, that sort of thing. A more Netflix-like player UI/UX experience would be a welcome upgrade.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom lets me focus more on listening and engaging with my team during meetings rather than scrambling to take notes.

 ### 49. Game-Changer for Meetings: Ask Fathom & Custom Summaries Save Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana D. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has been a game changer for our meetings. Ask Fathom is hands down the most useful feature; it lets you quickly pull answers and insights without digging through recordings. I also love that the meeting summaries can be customized to focus on a specific point of view, which makes follow ups way easier and more relevant. It saves time, keeps things organized, and actually makes meetings useful after they’re over.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything I don’t like so far. The features have been really solid, and it’s been genuinely helpful in our day to day work.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have to take detailed notes or rewatch recordings anymore; everything is summarized and searchable. It benefits me by saving time, making follow ups easier, and helping me quickly pull the exact information I need when I need it.

 ### 50. Effortless Follow-Ups with Helpful Recaps and Timed Clips

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zuleika B. | Sr Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love how it captures follow-up tasks and assigned items. I also appreciate the succinct recap email, along with the timed clip you can reference to see and hear exactly what was discussed—especially if you missed something.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I think this may be more of a Zoom platform issue, but Fathom sometimes doesn’t launch automatically.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps address the kinds of tasks that come up in our weekly touch bases. It reminds me who is responsible for what and when each item is due. It also keeps us on track with upcoming events we should attend, and makes it easier to reference data from presentations that were given.
