I have addressed the issue with FastPath, and it is on their enhancement list to have the ability to copy the roles of a terminated user at the time of their termination vs. having to rebuild the security permissions from the users' history. It's more of a limitation on our end where we have to manage database growth based on the number of items we want to track. But the other thing would be how fast the online query results respond. I feel it could be quicker - there are times when I am querying results if I don't have a narrowed search pattern, it takes a while, but I guess it's like anything else; understandably, there's an option to purge old data to have a skippier response.
