We use Config AD and it's been a godsend to me as the system administrator handling security. I no longer have to deal with users who forget their passwords since it uses Active Directory. Also, maintaining security is a breeze with their tool. This is the 3rd company that I have worked for in which I have recommended and installed Fastpath. Their support is fantastic as well. That we are unable to track all the tables in AX for auditing. Auditors are saying that this can be done in SAP, but with the FastPath an dD365FO it can not. Also, we have also had several bugs when running reports, but they are quick to assist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You’re correct, SAP has its own internal audit trail running continuously within the application. In AX, this data does not exist. Therefore, the best solution is to take a ‘risk-based approach’ to determine which data is tracked. By utilizing this method, you would review all changes that contain areas of risk for your organization. We are using Fastpath since 2017 and being a public limited company we have a lot of Monthly and quarterly controls, Fastpath reports are very easy to generate and are audit friendly, the Audit log functionality is one of my favorite feature. I see a room for improvement in SOD. I see the roles are very generic. I need to put in a lot of time to customize or modify the rules before I can use the SOD feature. It would be very helpful if this is already built on for the ERP we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
