Customer support is very responsive and knowledgeable in each ERP. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** It lacks the ability to join tables such as users and change log, which makes it unusable in some reports. I know they're working on adding that functionality. It was moderate difficulty to integrate so we had to take a few months before it was fully working. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to run monthly audit reports in multiple areas, and it helps us automate and simplify the process every month. ### 2. Their technical group assisted us in getting us up and running with the basics quickly. Understanding the business needs and identifying what should be tracked is essential if you don't want your database to grow exponentially. Overall we need to spend more time tailoring it to our daily needs. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** It's more of a limitation on our end where we have to manage database growth based on the number of items we want to track. But the other thing would be how fast the online query results respond. I feel it could be quicker - there are times when I am querying results if I don't have a narrowed search pattern, it takes a while, but I guess it's like anything else; understandably, there's an option to purge old data to have a skippier response. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accountability on data in our ERP system. This results in identifying areas that require additional training and reduces the number of errors made in our system. ### 3. The team(s) are always on top of questions and requests to make sure you are getting the best use from the tool. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** Sometimes the product seems to have too much going on and they like to point to training videos, but they aren't always the easiest answer. I've found that live training is much better when possible. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use the tool for quarterly access reviews, segregation of duties verifications as well as a tool to confirm segregation of duties for our roles in the ERP system. ### 4. When individuals move companies/roles, it results in potential risks like access deprovisioning or segregation of duty conflicts. Fastpath is the a great analytics tool that my team utilizes to track any conflicts at a point-in-time. Historically our process involved running 4+ different reports to analyze SOD conflicts, but after meeting with the support engineers we were able to reduce the process to a click of one button. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I believe the learning curve for using Fastpath is a bit steep for the average user. It could be a bit daunting looking at all of the different tabs and subsections. The training manual could be improved -- along with more pinpointed video modules to allow users to leverage on common questions/issues. Integration with SAP might be helpful to our company as well. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** As stated above, our SOD analysis for our Oracle application would take an extensive amount of time if performed manually. Fastpath allows us to refine our parameters to highlight any medium/high risk conflicts in order to make our action plan more efficient. ### 5. The security designer tool is super useful when making changes to user role assignments or adding new permissions to existing roles. Its great to have insight into a change's impact before actually making it. We also really like the **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I find the navigation to be a bit convoluted when digging down deep into menus, also the names of some of the system reports aren't super descriptive so it can be a bit confusing for a new user. I think the conflict rule setup could be easier, its not entirely clear when you open up the ruleset which permissions are actually involved, you have to dig down pretty far to get to the actual permissions instead of just the containers you've defined. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOD analysis of netsuite users and roles has never been easier. Frankly netsuite offers zero tools to do this without some kind of external analysis so something like fastpath is an absolute requirement if you have SOD concerns. We have been able to run our controls entirely based upon Fastpath's output, and insure ourselves against future violations by utilizing the security designer. ### 7. Also, I aware there are also Access Management to allow the approval process setup within the application and then automatically setup user and permission. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** Not very easy to setup rule set and also, not able to get a good SOD report on Salesforce. It will be good there are more document or help document on new feature **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Reduce a lot of manual work on doing SOD. Fastpath is very good on the SOD and Critical access review, you could rely on them for the analysis and rebuild the user roles for the systems. Also, this is very helpful if you start from scratch on the role redesign **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOD issues on the Netsuite applications. The segregation of duties looks like a great tool, but have fully implemented yet. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** Very bad instances when backup does not occur (usually when I need it the most). I open a case, and they resolve, but I lose hours waiting for syncing to complete. This has been very good this year with syncing, so I hope those issues were resolved. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Identifying user, permission sets, and profiles with how various objects and fields are being accessed. Want to utilize the approval of segregation of duties with the business. Have not had time to work on this because of other priorities. ### 11. FastPath team did a great job with the on boarding and was relatively pain free since there was already a bundle from the NetSuite store. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** Support went over the training very quickly and just showed us how to do things from their screen. It would have been much easier if they directed us where to go and what to click so we could build that familiarity with the software. Also, the training schedules fill up quickly, I had to wait 2 weeks for a 1 hour training, and when it wasn't enough I wanted to schedule another training, but the wait time was another 10 days so I just gave up. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** User Access Reviews are a lot easier now and our auditors are familiar with FastPath. The reports are straightforward to use. I appreciate the great support that included with our license. We are only limited by the amount of resources we have to dedicate to audit and security efforts. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** There are some aspects of Fastpath that my organization has not been able to take advantage of yet, due to our limited resources. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Fastpath seems like they have established themselves well as a tool to audit access control and various audit risks. That is my experience with Fastpath, and in that respect I would definitely recommend Fastpath to other organizations. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are managing user access changes for a global organization. Fastpath provides a suite of reports we can use to track and manage user access as well as to manage approval workflow groups, deactivation of users. Auditors are saying that this can be done in SAP, but with the FastPath an dD365FO it can not. Therefore, the best solution is to take a ‘risk-based approach’ to determine which data is tracked. Their support team is available all time and very responsive. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I see a room for improvement in SOD. I see the roles are very generic. I need to put in a lot of time to customize or modify the rules before I can use the SOD feature. It would be very helpful if this is already built on for the ERP we use. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** If you are planning on using fastpath for SOD purposes, I woudl recommend you to work with fastpath team to customize the rules before using directly. For my experience, it is a little difficult to understand the reviews it made. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Try the demo for make an example of an audition and make use of it in a Active directory for example for testing the potential of the application. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** In Ditecsa we need to do auditions every year and we need to have everything in order.
