It lacked the ability to upload your custom background document and add the fields to that, so it looks like the paper version of a form that field workers are accustomed to seeing. Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms: Ask lots of questions to the community of users, play around with the tools in it and get a good understanding of how they work before you get too far into building your app. It will save you a lot of time changing things later on. If you are not already using the Report Builder feature, I would suggest giving it a try. You can upload your current paper form as a PDF and assign fields to it. However, this is only currently available for the final report, and you will not be able to produce this look while filling out the form in the field. Slick, minimalist design with an intuitive form build dashboard. Completing and submitting forms can be done from computer, phone or tablet. Attaching photos and naemding reports is easy. The trending and correlation functions are not as powerful as others. Often I would just export to Excel. We are finally getting ride of so much paper, so much mess and delays. The data is gathered, confirmed with pictures and video and sent in an ordely fashion to who really needs it almost real time. There is a strong change resistance, people in the area are not easy to convice that the data is secure, that it wont be editted, etc. The learning curve is very fast, but the acceptance by the customers is the hard part. We had issues with lost registries, transcription errors, data that was related to nothing, lots of pictures that were disorganized and ultimatelly useless. All that is fixed: the data is gathered directly in the form, verified by pictures that are GPS organized and presented in a form that clearly states what they are.
