FairTest is a drug and alcohol testing management platform that helps organisations automate their entire testing program — from random employee selections through to test logging, compliance reporting, and workforce management. Built for safety-critical industries like mining, construction, logistics, and oil and gas, FairTest replaces spreadsheets, paper forms, and disconnected processes with a single purpose-built system. At the core of FairTest is a random selection engine that produces legally defensible, audit-ready results. Every selection records the cryptographic seed, algorithm version, eligible pool, and draw outcome — giving you a complete audit trail that stands up to regulatory scrutiny. Selections can be run on demand or automated with recurring schedules that rotate through sites, departments, or roles on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Test logging captures everything needed for a compliant record: test type, result, photo evidence, digital signatures, GPS coordinates, and tester details. Tests can be logged from the web dashboard or on-site using the mobile app, which supports offline capture, biometric login, and camera integration for field use. FairTest includes a full suite of compliance reports — results breakdowns, positive result tracking, tester activity, employee history, and non-compliance reporting — all with date and scope filtering and one-click CSV export. An AI-powered chat feature lets users ask plain-English questions about their testing data and get instant answers without building reports manually. The platform supports multi-site organisations with regions, locations, departments, job classifications, and role-based access control across four permission levels: owner, admin, manager, and tester. HR integrations with systems like UKG, Deputy, Xero, Employment Hero, Humanforce, SAP SuccessFactors, and Dayforce keep employee rosters in sync automatically. For testing providers, FairTest offers multi-tenant management — onboard and manage multiple client organisations from a single account, log tests on their behalf, and track billing per customer. FairTest also supports SAML/SSO for enterprise single sign-on, multi-factor authentication with org-level enforcement, email and SMS notifications for selections and positive results, and a versioned REST API for custom integrations.
