FairCom EDGE includes a full database, an MQTT broker, a transformation engine and replication capabilities. The FairCom EDGE MQTT broker is unlike traditional Industrial MQTT brokers because it does not require a separate, third-party database for persistence and data integration. It automatically parses, transforms and persists MQTT messages to its underlying database. The FairCom EDGE transformation engine makes it possible to ingest messages from a wide variety of formats such as MQTT, OPC, MODBUS, ThingWorx, JSON, REST, SQL. The engine can then output in any combination of these formats. Failover, high-availability and redundancy is supported through the available replication support.
