FACTS Payment Plans is a tuition management and billing software solution that helps K-12 private and Catholic schools collect tuition and fees, project cash flow, and offer families flexible payment options. School business offices and administrators use it to manage billing and reporting, while families use it to pay tuition in installments. FACTS, a Nelnet company, entered the education industry over 35 years ago with tuition management. Schools can track collections, balances, and cash flow in dashboards with drag-and-drop report tiles, and receive payments on dates that match payroll and cash flow needs. Families can pay by auto-debit, card, check, phone, or mail, and manage their accounts from any device. Key features include: -Dashboards and reports for collections, outstanding balances, and trends -Payment plans that spread tuition over time, with automated reminders -Incidental billing and a form builder for non-tuition fees such as meals, childcare, and field trips -Real-time payment status and notifications for families The software reduces manual tracking and supports forecasting for schools, and installments make tuition more manageable for families. Families get one mobile-responsive portal for payments, invoices, and payment history, available in Spanish with one click, plus live phone and chat support. Connected FACTS products include: -Financial Aid Management, which applies awards directly to tuition accounts -Advanced Accounting, which serves as the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger -Student Information System and Admission Intelligence, which bill all fees in one place and let families enroll in a payment plan during admissions As with all FACTS platforms, FACTS Payment Plans is protected by a dedicated cybersecurity team that continuously updates, optimizes, and tests its security measures. The product is PCI Level 1 compliant and SSAE 18 audited, and FACTS provides onboarding support. More than 12,000 schools use FACTS products.
