**What do you like best about FACTS?**

FACTS was very straightforward. The further we move from FACTS (even though we had an outdated version) the more I appreciate the simplicity. FACTS was very easy to learn. It required no additional training hours billed to a consultant either.
The interface was quite dated. Obviously. However, you could get on FACTS and quickly identify where you needed to go for what function. And I loved that you didn't have to navigate around modules or components you didn't have to get to what you needed. The functionality that you paid for kind of floated to the time of the process. I miss that. I think FACTS would a great ERP for a small business that was investing in its first ERP.

**What do you dislike about FACTS?**

By far, the worst part was how hard it was to export data into a usable format. The way the data was formatted, even if you could export to Excel, for example, was so convoluted it was hardly worth exporting to a spreadsheet in the hopes of mining the data and working it into a readable report.
And if you exported a report into the native format, everything was difficult to read and impossible to convert into something better.
I would imagine that newer versions of FACTS have addressed this issue.
The other issue that made things difficult was the forms themselves. FACTS' fields within the forms had vague labeling to them. Or it had a generic field that couldn't be defined well. As a result, anyone entering data could interpret the field's description how they wished. Consequently, there was no consistency in certain parts of the data, like having the same language used for all CRM information or a consistent way of defining routes and structures in formulas.

**What problems is FACTS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, we don't use FACTS anymore. However, I can say that when the company launched FACTS some years ago, it was easy to adopt. The company had never used an ERP before, relying on Excel and Access, and ACT primarily.
The company was finally able to gather and maintain all the data in one place. That was a game-changer for our little company. It made a huge difference in how we managed our supply chain, our customers and our finished products.
