## About Factor 8
Factor 8 is an award-winning sales rep and manager training company focused 100% on helping sales teams sell in a virtual world. We’re not a big six consultancy, we’re not a national curriculum house, we’re not selling books. What we are is a team of expert sales leaders who quit the daily grind so we could spend our time developing people – our favorite part of the job. Together we’ve solved the big problem: Sales Reps AND Managers are not gaining the skills they need to quickly feel confident and successful long-term. That means they ramp slowly and leave quickly. We’ve made the calls, done the demos, managed the teams, and forecasted the deals. We get you. We have a better way to ensure teams hit higher revenue goals faster. It’s all we do, and we love it. You’ll love the payoff.

I liked how they provided real examples to evaluate, as well as hands-on activities that created reinforcement of the ideas. I also liked the forms to take away.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Both times, in the live training, we only got to half of the lessons that we had taken as pre-class work. (Although the activities we did on the part that we did cover was effective0

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

I would highly recommend the MasterClass, but it will be most effective if you do the pre-course work and relate the information to your own situation.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am new to Outbounding, and needed guidance on how to do it most effectively. I felt like the activities provided helped me to work through the training and develop my own talk tracks that were pertinent to my business.

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

Our instructor was incredibly engaging and offered actionable steps to take immediately to improve our pitch

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

I enjoyed hearing everyone's pitch and collaborating on the coaching, but it took time away from covering all of the material that I was hoping we would get to

The follow up and training cadence was particularly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

I just did the call coaching framework and it often referred to other sessions done by Factor 8, would like for the training to be more self-referential.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

Great training course that is about what fundamentally makes a good coach.

Factor 8 does a great job of providing a framework for sales coaching and actually helping you apply it.

  ### 29. Great Call Coaching Bootcamp that really helps make the difference on your sales teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias R. | Sales Manager Digital Workspace NEMEA , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2021

**Describe the project or task Factor 8 helped with:**

Call Coaching, Coaching Culture, Coaching System

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

I have been on the Factor 8 Call Coaching Bootcamp and enjoyed every single minute of the training. What I believe is most valuable is the great balance between e-learnings and hands on execution. Most of the training gets lost when not applied, but the energy Lauren delivers the training with and the active participation of each attendee trying the "COACHN" model instantaneously makes it very sticky. Perfect combination of in-class and practical approaches that help you overcome one of the worst rated sales manager skills - call coaching.
Would highly recommend this bootcamp to any sales manager with direct reports or directorslooking to coach their management team and install a "true" call coaching culture in their organizations.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Nothing, I really have to say every single part of the content was perfectly outlined and planned. Great fun to exercise with many like minded people

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Installing a Call Coaching System, structured way of coaching on teams now, how to rate your own sales team and plan coaching sessions

  ### 30. Worked directly with Lauren and Team, they flew down and trained us onsite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amir R. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2020

**Describe the project or task Factor 8 helped with:**

We needed experts to help us structure our training programs. Our training department was in need of a facelift and Factor8 provided that for us

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

Expertise and domain experience, Lauren and her team has been there and done they understood our space and the game with a playbook already complete.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

I disliked the fact that we couldn't have them permanently be part of their team. That was pretty much all that we disliked.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

Meet with Lauren and the team - Pick a company that matches your culture

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need too train our trainers and to build out our training modules. After working with Factor8 our training team was motivated, educated, and empowered to train our staff.

  ### 31. Great training, great bar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karin R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2020

**Describe the project or task Factor 8 helped with:**

Factor 8 helped our company completely revamp our outreach. They helped us change and improve our message to be more relevant to our target market and prospects and to get our sales team on the same page.

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

I love that we did both in-person and ongoing online training. The in-person training really helped to kickstart it all and having access to the material and follow up courses online has been very helpful in keeping everything relevant and staying on top of perfecting the skills we learned.
I also like how the training is focusing a lot on how to make our message relevant to the prospect instead of doing a "one pitch fits all" approach.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

The online platform can sometimes be a bit glitchy. For some of the questions on the quizzes, you get an error even if you fill out the correct answer which can be confusing at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

Make sure to use the sales bar! It's a great tool to keep the skills alive and improving after the initial training is over. It's a mix of videos, quizzes and information. There are also resources to print and post in you "revenue generation station" to reference when on a call which is super helpful.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an engaging training platform that helps us all align our message across the sales team while also allowing us to make our personalities shine through when talking to prospects.

  ### 32. The Sales Bar - pouring knowledge for your sales reps.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiersey M. | Inside Sales Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

The Sales Bar has proven extremely effective in helping onboard reps faster and give them actionable tips and tricks to immediately implement in their daily activities to generate sales. The team of experts at The Sales Bar and Factor8 have been able to create the Sales Bar content that can stand alone or be a blend to their in-person training programs. The result is a self-paced or assignable training that is grouped and separated to be easily retained and proven to show results. Our reps also love the live events called Happy Hours.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

There is nothing to dislike. The team at the Sales Bar is quick to answer questions and troubleshoot if any issues arise within the platform itself. We are looking forward to the day that we can get The Sales Bar for our mobile devices!

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

Sales organizations spend so much money investing in tools and their tech stack - invest in your people!! Using The Sales Bar has instant ROI and I can't wait to see where the Sales Bar & Factor8 team take the content next.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Sales Bar and its training has helped us on-board our new hires, getting them on the phone confidently and ultimately converting opportunities faster. The content on The Sales Bar holds the reps attention, and gives them actionable tips to add to their sales arsenal.

  ### 33. Meet me at the Bar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richie N. | Member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

The Sales Bar is very relevant content and categorized by role which is super helpful. Whether you are in leadership as a people manager or individual contributor there is a training track for you. The content is broken into small bites so you don't have to commit a lot of time all at once to go through. Additional reference documents are there as well to help reinforce and review.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

This is a tough one because I can't think of anything to dislike. The platform is super easy to use and response times on questions are fast. So I can't think of anything else.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

Definitely take it on as a trial to see if it works for your organization. The company and team are great people and I have worked with them on other solutions as well.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving our managers right now ongoing development. For so long me and my team didn't have anything formal for ongoing development as a new or even tenured manager. This was left to the managers to find on their own or hope their manager would help them. This allows us to give them that development that so many crave especially as new managers are brought on board.

  ### 34. Sr. Manager - Demand Generation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom S. | Senior Manager, Business Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

Love the expertise that Factor8 brings and their ability to make the modules tangible in real world scenarios. The follow-up materials and print-outs that can be used post training to ensure reps are implementing is a great way to drive home the learning. The call library is a fantastic way for managers and reps to really get that "real-world" feel and truly rounds out all of the modules nicely - it also acts a nice coaching spot for 1:1's and specific areas of development for individual reps

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

There are no inherent "Flaws" with the Sales Bar. Factor8 is continuously taking input and feedback from the user community and making the appropriate enhancements when and where needed.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a lot of out on-boarding and training challenges. Before the Sales Bar our intro's weren't providing any value and we rarely referenced a lever - post training module in the sales bar we are getting into more live conversations and uncovering more details about prospects environments. We also struggled with getting call backs - virtually zero before the team went through "voice mails that work" module - we received 13 returned calls in 2 days and were able to schedule 2 or 3 meetings from those returned calls - THAT IS ROI!!!

  ### 35. The Sales Bar delivers a double shot of relevant training for sales professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil G. | Vice President of Sales Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

What I like best about The Sales Bar is the relevancy of the training. Whether it's a quick video, a handout, or an interactive exercise, it's real training for real sellers.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

The ability to rewind on the call recordings is not intuitive to me.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

The best way to implement The Sales Bar is with a group of 2 or more employees, facilitated by a trainer, with everything done together. Without it, your sales team will multi-task, zone out, and not fully realize the full potential of The Sales Bar. This is the case with any e-learning program that require actual skill development and not just knowledge ingestion.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thus far, we've solved getting new SDRs onboarded faster thanks to The Sales Bar. We are seeing a standardization of messaging with all the people that go through The Sales Bar, and we've been able to get 10 new reps up to speed by combining The Sales Bar (viewed together, and with discussion facilitated by me, a VP of Sales Training) with in person, instructor led training.

  ### 36. Awesome Training for Inside Sales Reps and Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly P. | Sales Effectiveness Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

We use the Sales Bar as a supplement to the classroom training with Factor 8. What we love about it at Infor is that it is completely tailored to our customized Inside Sales Training program with personalized dashboards and learning paths. This helps our new hires get up to speed on our training and methodology as well as helps keep the skills alive for those who have completed the classroom training.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Anything self-paced can be a challenge, but the team at Factor 8 does a wonderful job of making it feel like you are in a classroom by ensuring the sessions are engaging. There are also live workshops that you can attend.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Sales Bar has allowed us to implement a sales methodology and language that we use throughout our entire organization. The bar has made it easy for us to onboard new reps as well as aid in continued coaching of our Inside Sales reps and managers. People are hungry for development and training and we have received great feedback from our reps and managers after using this platform.

  ### 37. The sales training you need when you need it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa H. | Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

The content is extremely relevant to all levels within the sales organization. I personally went through the leadership training and it was a game changer for my career. I've leveraged the sales content with my SDR team to great success. Not only is there training for the team but also support materials to assist managers in driving the content home.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

The only challenge is the amount of content and determining what to start with and the order that will be most effective.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So much training is focused on product and too little is around how to navigate a sales call or manage a sales team. This solution solves for both.

  ### 38. The Sales Bar team knocks it out of the park

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adria J. | Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

I love the modules and how they are chunked out so that a skill can be mastered rather than hoping that one out 10 things will stick like most modules are set up.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Glitches - typos, links not going to the correct pages, audio fogginess. Issues are addressed as soon as they are reported so they are not glitches for long.

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to be a better coach and making a strong inside sales team

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The two most helpful are the call coaching and the COACHn modules - the prerecorded calls in the call coaching are invaluable because they can be used in 1/1's, team training as well as giving a team an outside example.

  ### 39. #girlsclub review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

access to timely, relevant content. Great for new managers: how to run 1:1s, providing feedback, etc.
there was also a networking component to #GirlsClub that I LOVED.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

tough to keep up with while in a full time job but fantastic supplemental learning

**Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:**

your women in sales will thank you

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

start up where most learning is on the job. Super supportive exec team but they don't have time to train on stuff like this. great to go at my own pace

  ### 40. Setting a New Bar

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

The UI was fairly easy to navigate for both past and present learnings. You can customize very easily for your needs.

Response time of questions was outstanding. They really looked to their users to define the roadmap, which is the right way to think about technology.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Not a dislike, but can’t wait to see mobile version

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On demand learning is a must and The Sales Bar accomplishes just that. Also, ability to easily see what I have completed and what is in progress.

  ### 41. It's easy to use, is focused on what's needed and has great information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom J. | Advisor and Partnerships, Americas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Factor 8?**

Our team has been able to directly implement a lot of the learnings that TSB shares to achieve results.

**What do you dislike about Factor 8?**

Nothing specific. Hopefully, it can just keep growing with more useful content.

**What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made it easier and faster to onboard and train our reps in an engaging way.
