Factiva is perhaps the most Exhaustive news/articles gathering platform I have used. It universe of coverage is vast and includes a lot of small to mid sized public companies and niche industries. The platform itself is pretty easy to use and comes with a great range of tools to further enhance your research. It's smart yet simple and covers almost all major reliable news sources. A few filters don't always work as per expectations. Also, a few subjects' description or coding can be confusing. The most redeeming feature of Factiva is it acts as a one stop solution for gathering relevant articles from multiple sources. In my view, the user interface of Factiva while functional can be made more intuitive so as to make it easier to understand to any new user and the inability to download large number of article at a time makes the process slightly repetitive. At times searching for the company on the platform shows that the company is available, however, once we go to its details, the information about the company is not available.
