When used correctly, the P&ID's and objects etc will have links and associations to Smart 3D and SmartPlant Construction which helps with database/report generation in the long run. **What do you dislike about Octave Facets P&ID (Intergraph P&ID)?** It is a bit more time consuming than the traditional drafting with AutoCAD/MicroStation. It requires more time to use the software correctly to ensure that the "links" between objects are accurate and correct. A Drafter must also understand the "theories" in design/construction much more than simply "drafting redlines". **What problems is Octave Facets P&ID (Intergraph P&ID) solving and how is that benefiting you?** When using the whole suite of software from SmartPlant P&ID, to Smart 3D, to SmartPlant Construction, it simplifies alot of the checking (missing objects, unaccounted for lines or equipment etc). It also helps with creating Systems and Turnover/Completions during Construction phase. ### 3. There is lot to improve it to meet overall Process Engineering requirements, Digital Twin and modern AI needs. **What problems is Octave Facets P&ID (Intergraph P&ID) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reporting and consistency check are good tools. These visibility is good.
