What problems is Facebook for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients are global and need to reach audiences / customers on a global scale. Facebook for Business has (so far) given us a way of tapping into that worldwide audience. We successfully use it extensively for event promotion and community building, which contributes to brand lift, awareness, and affinity.
That being said, Facebook is one of those platforms I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with. On the one hand, the reach without paid support has really dropped off and it’s frustrating to put time into a great post only to have it disappear into the void unless you boost it. But on the other hand, when I do run paid campaigns, the targeting is super precise and often delivers solid results, especially for things like local events or lead generation.
Organic post visibility for business pages is now very low, making paid promotion almost essential. Since the algorithm favors "meaningful "interactions, it's often harder to gain traction without boosting posts. Also, there are just so. many. tools. It's often cluttered, confusing, and hard to find just the right obscure setting needed so that your posts / ads / campaigns actually function properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
