Does not have a PHP module like Apache (requires php-fpm).

it doesnt create an extra process per connection. load balancer buildin proving insane speed advantage over apache. it also supports FastCGI and SCGI for our php applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

many applications deployed on the server don't go well with the default settings out of the box with nginx. i highly recommend they change that in the future to make the transition from apache more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that it has a very low memory footprint and performs well under load. I enjoy that it is easily configurable. It supports all the things you'd expect: SSL, websockets, reverse proxy etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
