F5 provides which i like mostly in this technology. we can optimize app availability and user experience with intelligent L4-L7 load balancing, SSL/TLS offloading and visibility, and programmatic traffic manipulation with F5 iRules.

What problems is F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like the fact that in F5 we can create and assign custom "Access Profiles" to any "Virtual Server" I have so different applications can use different access profiles.

Another strength F5 BIG-IP has is its ability to run a report on the "Access Policy" to get information on all the sessions in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)?

F5 Local Traffic Manager have a lot of feature which can increase the speed applications via both application and network layers. Oneconnect feature is one of the best feature of F5 LTM. Another good feature is iRule. iRule is TCL based scripting language. You can manipulate the client side request and server side response with iRule. Because of SSL offloading consume more CPU you can offload the SSL traffic at F5 LTM asics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)?

LTM offers great flexibility on what you can do with its virtual servers. As an example of our use-case, you can easily attach multiple SSL certificates (via profiles) to a virtual server. This is a huge advantage to its competitors (at least those I've used don't support such feature). Also: iRules! You can allow, block or redirect traffic (and a lot of advanced things as well) with just a few sentences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
