No matter what kind of food my bosses want for their meeting, I can always find it on ezCater. I can’t think of anything that’s been unhelpful. If I had to point out one downside, it’s that it can be harder to get truly personalized help from a caterer when they don’t really know me, since I’m ordering through ezCater. We’re required to order from vendors that are vetted first, and ezCater takes care of that for us. It makes the whole process easier, and we can choose whoever we want with more confidence. The fees are a little higher than if you order directly from the restaurant, but that can be mitigated some by opting to pick up instead of having the food delivered. We had staff members ordering from a bunch of different places which required them to hunt down receipts. ezCater centralizes 90% of our food purchases and allows for front end coding. I love ezCater's customer service, it's second to none. Anytime I have an order, I don't have to call the delivery person or the restaurant. I can just hop on chat with ezCater, and within minutes, they call the restaurant, get an answer, and then let me know. You can't find that anywhere else. They always do a great job. Another thing I really love about ezCater is the record it keeps for me. For recurring meetings, I can easily check what was ordered last time, which makes planning super simple. Also, the initial setup was very easy. Their great customer service walked us through it, and I had no issues whatsoever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ezCater? The only thing I think that could be improved is when an order is messed up. And we typically have minutes to repair it, they immediately go to, we're so sorry. We'll give you a refund. Refund or a partial refund, which may help with a future order. But at that moment, I have a group of hungry people and not enough food. So I need a different resolution. I need them to put pressure on the restaurant to make more food and bring it, typically, it's the restaurant's fault that something was left off. And it doesn't happen very often. Usually, you know, if they leave off a bag of potato chips, no big deal. Credit is great. I do appreciate the credit. It simplifies tracking past orders for recurring events and offers exceptional customer service, handling issues directly with restaurants. I find ezCater easy to use. I like that I can see my invoices and gather points for gift cards, which makes my life a lot easier. It's also a smoother process to find restaurants in my area or other areas I might be catering for. I like that ezCater provides me with information on restaurants that are close to the field/gym and hotel addresses. I also appreciate that it shows which menus offer individual packaging, making it easy to manage delivery and order for large groups. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, our offices order either breakfast or lunch for the office. The portal is mostly straightforward and it is very helpful to be able to filter through previous orders in order so that we can collaborate with accounting for payments. There are often times where we are missing part of the order we've placed, and it is sometimes unclear whether it is as a result of the restaurant or the delivery driver. We also sometimes have a hard time with ordering food for a certain amount of people (as listed on the website) and then when it is delivered, it doesn't appear to be enough food for the amount described. I love the variety of restaurants and the reward system. We have a lot of dietary restrictions and specific tastes, so the variety of foods allows me to fill the needs of my team. The rewards are a nice perk for last-minute requests that stretch the bounds of my time. ezCater is cheaper and has a better interface compared to what we used before. I think it would be great to have catering packages or bundles for every restaurant. Some restaurants have one-click options to get a full catering package to make it easier and faster to order. I would like that option for all restaurants. Another option to improve ezCater is to have a check box for common dietary restrictions so we can find a place that offers those options. I like the wide and vast selection of local cuisine that caters to all types of dietary restrictions and food allergies. The user interface is very friendly, and the ability to have individually packaged meals is invaluable for office landscapes. Switching up cuisines keeps things enticing for everyone, and having gluten-free and dairy-free options is a big plus. Sometimes, the delivery window isn't in real-time. Communication between restaurants and customers could be more streamlined for faster results and solving any issues. I think a direct chat option to confirm details with restaurants on what is being ordered, how much, and when the estimated delivery time is, along with information about the courier and location of delivery, would be helpful.
