I find it really easy to manage and keep track of who spent what with Extend. The initial setup was very easy, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 on the scale of easiness.

The credit card limit for basic plans could be a little more than a 100.

This provides a very efficient and organized means for me to spend allocated funds without needing to use my personal emails and then seek reimbursement from my school.  This is a very professional method for me to gain access to various account at my school, stay organized about what I am spending when, and it maintains a high level of transparency with regards to how funds are being used.  As soon as my school began using this software, it removed several annoying features of accounting processes.

Even though I have uploaded images of receipts successfully, 5-10 times now I have logged back onto the app later to find that I have missing receipts that I am certain I uploaded successfully.  Due to this, I still need to keep images of receipts on my phone or keep the physical receipts for a while.  It would be nice if this could be changed!

Extend allows me to access school funds without me having to use personal funds and then seek reimbursement.

The least helpful part is that I can’t add the virtual card to Apple Pay.

If you're referring to the full card number, however, that is by design. No one can see a card number that is not their own, this ensures that no one can make transactions on someone else's card. I like the ability to manage cards and limits efficiently. You are also able to switch seamlessly between eligible business cards, which allows for great transaction management. I use Extend daily to make inventory transactions. Customer support has been very helpful.

I dislike the inability to set your cards to an unlimited credit limit, or as much as Amex allows before decline. I also think merchant locking could be more easily accessible

Being able to have multiple cards with a limit to help mitigate risk. We do a lot of luncheons every month and being able to easily track what gets spent and limit each card with a simple easy to use app has made life extremely easy!

No complaints! Everything has worked so easily!

Being able to supply a card for individual reoccurring expenses and being able to limit the risk of spending on each one.

Super user-friendly and easy to navigate. I like that it lets me create categories and keeps everything in sync.

Sometimes transactions take a long time to go through, which creates delays and stalls when I’m trying to get receipts.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

What I like best about the Extend expense platform is how it simplifies expense management through virtual cards. I appreciate how easy it is to issue and track spending in real time, which really helps with budgeting and transparency. The ability to set controls on each card—like spend limits and expiration dates—makes it much easier to stay organized and avoid overspending. Plus, the integration with existing accounting tools helps streamline reconciliation, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

One thing I find less ideal about the Extend platform is that while it's great for issuing virtual cards, the user interface can feel a bit unintuitive at times—especially for first-time users. Some features aren’t immediately obvious, and there’s a bit of a learning curve to navigate reporting tools or locate past transactions. I think with a few user experience improvements, it could be even more efficient and user-friendly

It's incredibly easy to create virtual cards.  Unlike other systems I've used, Extend offers the ability to update a card after initially created.  Getting started was super quick and we had it up and running in our initial kickoff call.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

My only real complaint is how quickly you get timed out for inactivity.

**What problems is Extend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a number of employees who don't need a physical card as they don't travel, but they are the primary contact for a SaaS vendor.  It's really beneficial to just give them a virtual card to use with their vendors without having the risk of a bunch of physical cards.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

Before Extend our company would have one Amex for everyone to use and once it got hacked by a vendor we couldn't tell where the problem was and also had to wait on a new card.  Now we can have separate virtual cards for everyone, this is a game changer for us.  We can also tell now who the vendor is that a card gets hacked through and disable just that virtual card.  Love the product.

We had some issues in the beginning with budget reset, but that seems to be fixed with new updates.

We don't need to cancel our main Amex card anymore.

First I like how easy and user friendly extend is to use. If you never used any VCC that won’t be a problem. The UI is very easy to follow and the tracking of spending is amazing for managing your business.

My one and only dislike is that I wish it was easier  to generate bulk VCC. But after you read the guide it’s not as bad. But if this could change to the point where you just type the number of cards you want it would be a lot easier.

Because my small business has so many venders we purchase from month to month I was expierencing a lot of credit card fraud.  Once my business card was canceled we were basically shut down.  This way each vendere has their own card number and set balance amount. Thus, we know which vender's card was defrauded, they can only steal X amount of money and the business can still run!!!

It was great to be able to set team budgets and allocations. Getting our team onboarded was a quick and easy transition and made receipt tracking so much easier.

Would be great to allow more digital wallet featrues as well as different account logins

We were able to reduce from all department heads having individual credit cards to one card with digital cards. It also saved an incredible amount of time on creating tracking sheets and receipt scan folders to be able to upload all to one place.

It is a quick and straight forward process to submit a request. I often have the funds available within minutes (we have a great team in accounting). I am able to use the funds just about anywhere and providing documentation is simple as well.

Haven't run into any hiccups yet. It has satisfied my needs.

Extend eliminates the hassle that comes with using my own funds, submitting an expense reimbursement, and waiting weeks to have my funds returned. It is a gift of both time and effort.
