I am able to send as many cards as necessary to multiple departments. Makes me feel confident about receiving receipts to reconcile and worryfree about fraud.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

I wish the spend amount showed up on the first page when I log in, so that I know what charges to look for on the credit card statement.

Never an issue I brought up, but if I haven't found the right/easier way to search for a charge.

What I like best about Extend is the ease of creating new virtual cards (with complete control) all under 1  main credit card.

What I dislike is not using it more! I wish I had more access/insight to reporting by card, something I need to learn and play around with on my own.

Being able to offer employees a credit card without signing up for a new physical card.

The design is straightforward and easy to use. Setting up virtual cards and giving them to team members only takes a few minutes.

It is easy to use, the customer support is very helpful, and it integrates well with our other systems.

We have had some issues with API but its being resolved and Extend has been very hands on this.

The only thing I dislike is the variety of cards that work with their service.  I wish I could use all of my cards with them and many are not supported through them.

Solving my security issues of using credit cards online or giving numbers to vendors without the risk of loss or abuse.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

The ability to instantly create and manage virtual cards for team members is amazing! It allows for better expense tracking and security of the account. We can set limits and cancel cards instantly if needed. We are able to link mutliple company cards to one platform and see everything in one log in! The customer support is also spot on. Any issues we have come accross have been resolved quickly. This has been a game changer for the company and how we use our amex account on a regular basis.

I do wish there was a more robust subuser visibility. Also, it would be nice if the site was embedded in the AMEX website. Aside from that the platfrom has been wonderful.

As an agency that processes a lot fo transactions for our clients we needed a less manual way to connect and allocate those charges back to their source in quickbooks. Extend has been great. Their team has been very helpful with onboarding. The process of sign up and implementation was easy. We saw immediate value in that it saved a ton of time connecting various charges to various client jobs and the integration with quickbooks .

Wish that you can just see across all the cards and not have to go into each cards' owner.

Virtual card numbers allow us to limit the risk of fraud by using spearate numbers for each vendor.

It take a little more time to generate new numbers all the time but the benefits outweight the small amount of extra effort.

Using a separate number for each vendor allows us to reduce risk when a vendor leaks our card info.

The platform is very user-friendly and I recently discovered the integration with QBO which we're still testing but it's looking great! Able to save a couple of hours per week chasing people down for receipts

Apparently users can't connect their own CCs to track physical transactions without being an Admin.

You're right in that you have to be assigned an admin or bookkeeper role to set up the integration that allows you to import physical CC transactions, however there's no limit to the number of roles you can assign, so that'd be the best way to achieve that currently. The good news is that our product team is currently working on a solution for this very need, so stay tuned for future updates on this front!

The ability to separate client expenses. We have many clients and using one credit card for all of that is just not an option for us.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

It is a little quick to log you out of the console if you are not active. Small thing, but a little too fast.

We used to use one card for everything. Now we use Extend to create cards that can renew or be shut off once a project is complete. We don't have to worry about vendors charging for things after the fact or auto renewals.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

I like that it is a very user friendly platform, it's not complicated, and it allows me to do my tasks very quickly. At this time, we are manually generating the VCC's  as we have not done the API integration, which is why we looked for the platform, as we expect high volume of transacctions and want to be able to auto generate a  single use VCC for each transaction.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

There are only 2 things I would like to be able to do/see in the paltform: 
1) when I create a recurring VCC, and half way thru the period I update it, on the reset date it reverts to the updated amount, not the original amount. For example, If i create a card for $100 to reset every 1st of the month, and on the 15th I was running low on funds, so I updated it to $80; on the reset date the 1st of the next month, it brings it to $8 and not the original $100 for which it was created.
2) The second feature that would be extremely useful to my business would be if the AMEX credit card statement would give me transactions by VCC. Currently all charges on the statement are per transaction date and mixing all charges to the various recurring VCCs.

Creating recurring VCC for different expense types allows me to monitor the budget allocated to each expense category.

We've been using Extend for ~2 years. We love being able to create virtual cards for each software purchase. It's easy to use and update cards -- it's become our go-to method for managing company software licenses.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

This is more of a product request - I'd love to have a dashboard view of spend by Software. I'd also like to have a quickbooks sync so our accounting team has an easier time of reconciling EOM.

I like the ease of being able to navigate their website. It's not difficult to create virtual cards to provide to vendors and also not difficult to edit/cancel cards. I have not had many difficulties with the website throughout the years that we've been using Extend and therefore have never had the need to contact customer support. It's pretty seamless to use and easy to integrate with our everyday business functions.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

Nothing as of yet. Would be nice to be able to display the active virtual cards on the main dashboard instead of having to click on the virtual card option.

Extend is providing a safe and secure way to provide vendors a credit card without exposing the true card numbers which would pose a safety concern.

The limited amount of source cards that can be added. Wish it could have more than a handful.

The only issue is the fact we can't use it with ApplePay.

Hopefully they're working on being able to use ApplePay, this would facilitate making purchases.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

Extend is great for being able to give employees funds when they need it  and set limites versus giving them indivdual cards.  The app and website are very easy to use and roll out to the administration team.  The onboarding support  and customer service you get are great and they really stay on top of your account.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

Sometimes there are processing issues so you need to remember that sometimes the limit you want to give needs to be increased to make the transaction go through based on how the vendor runs the card.

It's elimiating the need for employees cards to allow and controls employee spending much better than actual cards.   They can also handle requesting the cards for the admins to approve.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

The team was very good at training us. We had to request several training sessions due to new users coming on. They were accomodating and helped us get set up in the system with our accounting codes etc. The website is reasonably easy to maneuver too.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

the person who helped us get set up initially was fantastic (especially in terms of responsiveness). His replacement on the otherhand was so unresponsive I basically depended on google and clicking around to get answers.

**What problems is Extend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to have our different projects figure out their own costs by giving them their own "budgets" from which they can issue virtual cards etc. They are then responsible for the charges and any receipt hunting that goes with it.

As an accountant, I really enjoy using Extend. It streamlines our vendor payment process and gives us better control over spend. One of my favorite features is the ability to easily issue virtual credit cards to specific vendors and set spending limits based on purchase orders. It’s simple, efficient, and helps us stay aligned with our budget and approvals.

I can track spending of my employees very accurately, and instantly generate new cards when needed. Setting limits on the cards is also amazing, I gain so much control.

I wish I had the option to add more credit card accounts, especially from visa or mastercard. Such as chase bank, citi bank, etc.

Before Extend, I had to call American Express more than one time per month with fraudulent charges on my card.  They would cancel my card and have to send me another one.  With Extend, I've been able to create the ghost cards and it keeps that from happening.  Such a life and time saver.  This program is so easy to use.  I love that I can watch my different cards on my app on my cell phone.  Convenience and usability is what it's all about for me.

Just wanted to clarify your issue with supplier auths, because it may be something we can solve! Are you looking to see both pre-auth amounts as well as cleared amounts? You're right that the final cleared amount is what appears in the app, but when you download a .CSV of your transactions, you should be able to see that level of detail. The .CSV has a few different amount columns including merchant authorization amount and settlement amount. Additionally, you can also attach any purchase orders or invoices to your virtual cards and transactions to compare what was agreed upon with what was charged.

I like all of the improvements that Extend has made since we started using the platform. They continue to add functionality and make the experience more user friendly. We love the way we can document our expense support and easily manage spend and teams within the platform. Their support staff was very helpful during the onboarding process. We use Extend daily.

We can't see virtual card usage on our statements, which isn't really anything negative about Extend, but rather Amex and the lack of integration between Amex Business and Extend.
