Origin is a startup company building a new kind of booking & scheduling platform tour guiding and travel experience businesses. Our team is remote, based mainly in the greater Denver/Boulder area in Colorado and in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are a team of passionate travelers, explorers and builders always looking to improve others around us. When we’re not building, you can find us out in the mountains, on the trails, or maybe even a tropical beach. We live for experiences, and we work every day to enable an easier way to manage, book, and explore what’s out there. We’ve seen it all. We’ve spoken with everyone from first-time tour operators to 30-year industry pros and the conversations are all the same: no booking platform had ever worked perfectly for them. Some businesses still use pen and paper to manage bookings because of this. Using an older, cookie-cutter reservation system can slow you down and confuse your customers. Our goal at Origin is to build a platform focused on you, the operator and business owner. We don’t mess around with OTA’s or other resellers that gouge you with commissions or make you pay to rank higher on their lists. We are dedicated to helping you drive and manage direct bookings from your website.  By focusing on you, we work to solve your day-to-day bottlenecks and frustrations that other booking platforms continue to ignore. Whether that’s managing your staff and guide schedules, automatically sending invoices and collecting remaining balances, or even giving your website a tune-up to stay on top of your SEO. We’re here to give you what you need to succeed so you can get people out exploring.
