Everytime I have had an issue with the platform, or something I needed assistance with it has been easy to send in a support ticket and get assistance. The folks providing the assistance and training are very knowledgeable and nice, and it is obvious they care about providing a long-term solution to customers. Integrating our database is also easy. I am happy with how fairly straightforward making changes is, especially with the 1 week intensive training, the documentation and the support provided. **What do you dislike about Experlogix CPQ?** It requires a lot of trainining up front, working off of the Frame can be cumbersome and slow sometimes as well. **What problems is Experlogix CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to streamline our ordering and quoting process. The organization needs to realize that they need to have a Primary and a Backup. We use it as an internal network tool to assist in customizing products for a final SKU and Price on a configuration. It's also used to publish to an instance in Azure (Windows VM) to use on our public website product pages. **What do you dislike about Experlogix CPQ?** In regards to using it in a public website manner, the setup isn't very straightforward (even for Experlogix reps). You must be adept as a website developer or very technical to integrate it. It's UI design can be customized, but you must do it outside of any GUI and use javascript and CSS. It's set up and working for us today after many trial and errors, as well as back-and-forth with support, however the last issue we still struggle with is that it has to be on a Windows machine (running in IIS, etc.), and there seems to be some random communication interruptions that cause the "Initializing" message to very slowly disappear so a customization can be started. **What problems is Experlogix CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** The configuration tool allows us to have rules and pricing updates per customer types, product choice types, etc. It makes it easier to build an application specific product for our customers. ### 7. The setup and configuration is very easy and we had it up and running in just a few hours. The quote to order process is very fast which helps the sales team sell the products much faster. Their customer support both online and offline is great. **What do you dislike about Experlogix CPQ?** The UI can use some improvements. Users don't always get notified when new updates occur so we often have to check manually. We've also noticed that certain rules can be restrictive. **Recommendations to others considering Experlogix CPQ:** I highly recommend contacting their sales and doing a full demo before signing up. We did and the demo really helped us make our decision.
