Lately, when I submit an expense receipt even using the auto scan, it makes me fill a single field on the form. This field is almost always the same, so Expensify could learn from the latest receipts of a kind that I submit and input that information automatically as well. I like how Expensify allows me to take a picture of a receipt, upload a picture, or forward a receipt email, which automatically creates the expense and fills in most of the details. Forwarding a receipt email for things like car rentals, airline tickets, and hotel stays is great. Once I do that, I don't have to think about it again at the end of the month. The only annoyance is that it can take several minutes for new receipts to be recognized and added. The processing of receipts uploaded in the web app should be prioritized, since those users are actively trying to finish a task in real time, while email forwards and receipt photos could be deferred since they are less likely to be time critical.
