The receipt scan in the mobile app is very accurate and saves a lot of time. The email scanning is also rather accurate and efficient. I have tried other products and Expensify has nailed the balance between features and simplicity. With as much travel as I do, I use this multiple times a day and save a lot hassle. Every now and again, the duplicate expense detection gets overly aggressive. For example, wifi charges on a multiple flights on the same day always get flagged as duplicates but they are not. Automation, AI-driven OCR and AI-drive categorization can all save time - and they do. For me specifically, Expensify makes it easy to manage all of the receipts from expenses. I can either take a picture right in the app or manually enter expenses, which is great for things like traveling or driving. It gives me a map to calculate mileage efficiently. I also love how I can keep track of multiple reports simultaneously, running different reports for various purposes like sales. It really helps to have the ability to keep them separate, and I can do this inexpensively. Overall, Expensify is simple and easy to use, making it very manageable, and switching from manual processes has been such a blessing. It's not possible to create a report directly; you have to add each expense individually first. The currency input only accepts values with a dot, such as 100.00, which can be limiting. The digital scanning tool is promising but takes a long time to scan which doesn't seem cutting edge in age of AI and when other tools are able to scan and analyse info instantly.
