It is so easy to instantly upload and tag receipts on the go! I love that it only takes a few seconds to finalize an expense report and I can do everything from my phone. Whether I'm in the middle of the airport, wrapping up dinner, or checking out of a hotel, I can snap a quick picture, enter some tags, and have peace of mind that my report is complete and I have everything digitized on the spot. I find the email forwarding a bit clunky - if there is a tip or a hotel expense that is not exactly and easily matched to the receipt, the site will generate a separate report. I find it very easy to just go into the created report and attach a receipt and it's very easy to do without email forwarding, but it would be nice if that feature was a bit more sophisticated. Where do I start? The set-up interface is the most confusing I've experienced, even compared to software that does much more complex tasks. It's very expensive. I've found free software that does exactly what Expensify did and more. And the support was absolutely terrible, we were on a paid plan and only got access to something they call "Concierge" which is like a support chat where you are passed around from agent to agent. It does not integrate well with Quickbooks. Every week we have to ask our IT team to reboot everything, which means that everyone has to log out of Quickbooks, which is a real pain. Also, whenever there is an update, all of our customizations disappear and we have to manually spend hours reentering all of our GL numbers and their descriptions. We use Expensify at work to keep track of the expenses of the month and the refunds that the company needs to process us. It´s super easy to use, you just need to upload the receipt and most of the times the receipts are recognized and categorized automatically. Expensify is integrated with the Payroll system that we use in the company so it´s easy for them to just download all of the reports. If I don't select the correct office it declines my request, I'm not sure if this is an Expensify issue or my company. Also, I wish didn't have to create the request and then submit it.
