## About Exclaimer
Exclaimer is an email signature management platform designed to help organizations maintain consistent, compliant, and commercially effective email signatures across all communications. This solution is particularly beneficial for IT teams, marketing departments, and HR and legal professionals, as it centralizes control over email signatures, ensuring that company-wide communications remain on-brand and compliant without requiring ongoing administrative effort. As organizations grow, managing email signatures manually can become increasingly challenging. Exclaimer addresses this issue by integrating directly with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and on-premises Microsoft Exchange. The platform automatically syncs with the organization's directory, ensuring that email signatures are updated seamlessly when employees join, leave, or change roles. This automation eliminates the need for manual updates, significantly reducing inconsistencies across the organization. Signatures are applied server-side via Microsoft Azure before emails are sent, which means users do not need to take any action. Additionally, an optional Outlook Add-In allows employees to view their email signature while composing messages, without altering how signatures are applied. Exclaimer offers role-based access controls (RBAC), enabling IT departments to delegate management of campaigns and banners to other departments, such as marketing or HR, while retaining control over the core signature template. This functionality minimizes support requests and reduces dependency on a central team for every update. Employees can also update their personal details, including contact information and working hours, through a self-service portal, further streamlining the process and reducing the burden on IT. For marketing teams, Exclaimer transforms every email into a potential marketing touchpoint. Users can create and manage signature campaigns that feature rotating banners and tailored messages for different employee groups, utilizing attributes pulled from the organization's CRM or directory. Built-in analytics provide insights into campaign performance at the email signature level, facilitating A/B testing of creative elements and calls to action. Integration with popular CRM platforms, such as Salesforce and HubSpot, allows engagement data to be incorporated into the organization's broader reporting framework. Moreover, Exclaimer ensures automated compliance by applying legal disclaimers and compliance statements according to predefined rules. This guarantees that every outbound email meets legal requirements, regardless of the sender's device or personal settings, thereby aligning legal and IT departments without the need for manual oversight. Beyond email signatures, Exclaimer also manages video meeting backgrounds for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, applying on-brand visuals to video calls from the same platform. With over 20 years of experience in email signature management, Exclaimer is trusted by more than 80,000 organizations across 150+ countries, offering governance controls, compliance tooling, and a robust support model that caters to both small teams and large enterprises.

## Exclaimer Reviews
 ### 1. Great-Looking Signatures, But Too Difficult to Use

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly B. | Head of marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

That the signatures look good and it can be tailored to what we need

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It was so difficult to use. At every stage. Things that should have been easy e.g. making sure signatures are turned off for replies and forwards - were so difficult.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us to have editable signatures that son't need to just sit with the IT department

 ### 2. Centralised Signature Management Saves Time, but the Experience needs improvement.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan M. | Senior IT Engineer, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Centrally managing signatures can be really helpful and can save a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The UI is very frustrating, and the built-in features feel like they’re almost there but not quite right.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centrally managed email signatures let you edit once and deploy to large groups of users, which saves time and effort when it’s done right.

**Official Response from Annabelle Dragoslav:**

> Hi Jordan, thanks for your feedback!

The UI feedback is noted and we take it seriously. We'd like to understand the specific friction points better - if you're open to it, drop us a message via support.exclaimer.com/hc/en-gb and we can review your setup directly. We appreciate the honesty.

 ### 3. On-Premise to Cloud adopting organisation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James W. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Our firm is a long standing Exclaimer customer. We used the server-hosted product for many years whilst hosting all out mailboxes on Exchange Server on Premises.

Whilst it is not really a concern for me, I am aware that Exclaimer provides all the features that our customer facing departments require in our standardised signatures, and similar options from Microsoft and Mimecast simply did not meet up to expectations.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The main downside is the added complication in our mail flow rules. We use Hybrid On-Prem Exchange Online with DLP compliance features, PGP Encryption Server and Mimecast as an eternal relay. Ensuring that mail is routed appropriately for each scenario whilst ensuring Exclaimer is always an overhead with mail tasks.

I am aware that the cloud hosted offering is considerably more expensive than the legacy self-hosted option that we used for many years.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides the rich presentation in standardised signature that other products do not.

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi James,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for being a long-standing Exclaimer customer, we really value your continued support as you've transitioned from on-prem to the cloud.

It’s great to hear that our features are delivering the consistency your customer-facing teams need, especially when compared to other solutions. We completely understand that managing mail flow in a hybrid environment can be complex, and we really appreciate you highlighting that. We'll be sure to pass your feedback on to our product and technical teams.

If you need any further support or have questions down the line, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.

 ### 4. A Email Signature Tool That Has an Attitude, Well Sorta!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | IT SYSTEMS ANAYLST, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Exclaimer takes the hassle out of managing email signatures. It’s easy to use, keeps branding consistent across all devices. When it’s working smoothly, it’s a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Exclaimer does a lot right, but it’s not without quirks. The interface is a bit dated, and support isn’t always quick. It’s powerful tool that works well when it does. You also have to be a master scientist to understand how to create a professional looking signature.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exclaimer helps maintain consistent, professional email signatures across all devices and saves time with a management console.

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear that Exclaimer has made managing your email signatures easier and helped keep your branding consistent across devices. It’s great to know the management console has been such a time-saver for you.

We also really appreciate your honesty about the areas where we can do better. Your comments on the interface, support speed, and signature design complexity are valuable, and we’ll be sure to share them with our team as we continue to improve the experience.

Thanks again for your review, we’re so pleased Exclaimer is helping you and your business.

 ### 5. Great Editor, But Support and Usage Tracking Need Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Great editor, easy to figure out the technical side too.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Very hard to get in contact with their team, and you cannot see the character usage in the builder.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making email signatures way easier to implement.

**Official Response from Chloe Lea:**

> Thanks for the feedback! We really appreciate you reaching out and hope we can do more to improve your experience when using our service. Thanks for choosing Exclaimer!

 ### 6. A lot of room for improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Once signatures are set, Exclaimer runs smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The signature designer has a lot of shortcomings. Font choice is limited, and bitmapped text for user-provided fonts are not an adequate substitute. Applying styling is unintuitive and buggy. It is an expensive product which is very infrequently updated. The only updates I can recall are a UI change which did not affect functionality, and deprecation of an in-use signature rule.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exclaimer provides an automated email signature based on centralised directory data.

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Exclaimer.

We’re glad to hear that once your signatures are set, the platform runs smoothly, that’s exactly the kind of reliability we strive for.

We also really appreciate your candid feedback about the signature designer. We understand how important it is to have flexibility with fonts and styling, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations in this area. We’ll be passing your feedback on to our product team, as input like yours plays a key role in helping us prioritise future improvements.

 ### 7. Liking the product but have had some onboarding issues.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

I love the ability to make changes to everyones signature at once without needing employees to lift a finger. I also really love the campaign banner features.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

We haven't been able to get Exclaimer to work for any of our PC users. I'm working with Exclaimer IT to resolve this issue.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to create each signature manually for our employees and which took so long. And I didn't have any control or visibility into our banner campaigns for promoting events or features.

 ### 8. It was a great service

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Great for email signatures and cloud computing.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It’s a little bit expensive at $175 per month.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes company emails more presentable to customers

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi,

Thank you for the feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you're finding value in Exclaimer for managing email signatures and improving the professionalism of your company emails. We appreciate your comments around pricing and will continue to work hard to deliver strong value for our customers. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

I like that it adds some personality to your emails - and the level of customisation you can include i.e. linkedin profile, meeting link and a photo.

The support team is always on hand to help you solve your issues.

Integrates nicely with gmail.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It takes a lot of leg work to get a signature designed and running

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes your emails look better and enables you to keep all of your hyperlinks in one neat place.

 ### 10. Good solution for email signatures in Office 365.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

It's easy to use and manage. The interface is well designed making the management a breeze and easy to get up to speed on everything quickly.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It can be challenging to get your signatures to look exactly how you want them to look. You can do it but some times takes a bit of time to get it just right.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exclaimer allows us to centrally manage email signatures for customers and have them be consistent and match internal branding.

**Official Response from Sarah Guilfoyle:**

 ### 11. Is promising but needs polishing. Issues with email delivery

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

It helped me simplify my signature management by offering a centralized hub for all signatures. I like the ability to customize signatures consistently, ensuring a professional and unified look for all employees at once. It allows me to add advertising or other tools to signatures (if needed).

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

After we set up the signatures, and launched through the organization, our sales staff started reporting that emails sent to their clients were being flagged as spam. Our IT department made tests and discovered that the Exclaimer signatures were the culprit.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- manage all signatures in a centralized place
- able to customize signatures consistently
- able to add advertising or other tools on the signature

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Exclaimer. We're thrilled to hear that the centralized hub has simplified your signature management, allowing for consistent customization and a professional look across all employees.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the spam flagging issue. Please reach out to our team operations@exclaimer.com so we can look into this further for you.

 ### 12. Nice idea but buggy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

It's great that in just a few clicks you can have the entire company's signature streamlined, ensuring you maintain brand consistency.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The Gmail sync doesn't always work. More often than not it'll say 'failed', even when it hasn't. Then you have to go and start checking everything manually. For a tool that's supposed to automate and thereby save the manual work, it seems counterintuitive. It's also not the most user-friendly - you can't just go in and figure out what goes where and how to do stuff.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring brand consistency and that everyone is promoting the same campaigns simultaneously.

**Official Response from Sally Bellis:**

> Hi,

We appreciate your positive feedback! We're continuously working to improve Exclaimer's performance and user-friendliness. Ensuring brand consistency and streamlined campaigns remain our top priorities. Thank you for your valuable input!

 ### 13. Basic Email Banner Platform - Works as expected

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin S. | Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Platform is very basic; works as it says it will. Haven't had many issues. It an older platform that hasn't modernized much, hence the extremely affordable price. No analytics to speak of, so remember to use UTMs in your links.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Challenging to ever get support. From Sales through to Support, the Exclaimer team really push you to self-service through their online resources. Speaking with a live person is a rarity.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Exclaimer, our email signature banners were all custom code, applied at a system level.
With Exclaimer, I now have different signature banners for different groups within the company, promoting different items.

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Robin,

Thank you for your feedback. We take all feedback we receive very seriously and we're sorry you have had difficulties in getting access to the support you need.

If you ever want to speak to someone regarding getting the most out of your Exclaimer solution, it's worth talking to our Customer Success team. All the best,

 ### 14. Very useful tool when is running as it should

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Duncan J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

The upside of using exclaimer is that it works between your email and the sender, making it great for device use. The signatures work well across platforms and have worked well most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The support lacks a human element. The signature system is excellent, but IT systems within businesses can be complex and nuanced, which doesn't work with the one size fits all automated support system Exclaimer has put in place.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exlaimer helps solve the issue of people having different signatures and being able to control the design centrally. The fact that Exclaimer pulls the data from Microsoft active directory means that information only needs to be input once.

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Duncan,

Thank you for your feedback! We're happy that using our email signature software has let you centrally control signatures across your company.

We are sorry to hear that you haven't had the best experience with our support. We do have dedicated support agents that are always willing to help should the need arise. They triage tickets based on the severity of the case, and we apologize if this has felt too automated.

If you ever require support in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you again for your review, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes,
Exclaimer

 ### 15. Discovery meeting needs more attention

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Director Of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Ease of setup was nice and the function of the software seems very smooth and clean.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The sale engineer did not fully investigate our company and promised us that this would be a fit for us and 6 months after paying for the year we are having to cancel due to the product not working for our company.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This would have taken the stress off my Marketing and we like the way it could have made us more efficient.

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Robert,

Thank you for your feedback.

We're sorry that you've had issues with implementing Exclaimer in your company. We're fully committed to making sure that our solution works in companies of all sizes. ### 16. A nice tool to manage your signatures

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

A user friendly platform
The support team is also quick to respond, and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

No html code access, but it does not seem to be a big issue

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps everyone in the company have the right signatures and to use them to make campaign promotions

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Julie,

Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you find our solution user friendly and our support team has been helpful.

We don't currently offer the ability to modify HTML code in the designer so it's easier to use. It means that someone doesn't need to have HTML experience to create email signatures. Essentially we do all the hard work with the coding in the background so you can focus on building the template.

If there's anything we can do to provide you with an even better experience, please do reach out to us.

All the best,
Exclaimer

 ### 17. Very limited help provided for specific issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Building a signature in Exclaimer is somewhat straightforward, but you are limited in what you can do here. The space and dimensions of objects are specified, making them more technically accurate. There is a testing feature which I have discovered, but this, unfortunately, does not determine if types of signatures are likely to be treated as spam.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Firstly, there are two different websites which make it harder to navigate between. When stuck on an issue, all the FAQs and help tools are on a separate webpage: https://support.exclaimer.com. The tickets open wth Exclaimer are still not resolved.
Secondly, the social media icons used in the Signature build, are in a specific format and are limited to changes. The icons all have a gradient applied and cannot be edited to a solid colour. Instead, the advice I received from Exclaimer was to create a social media icon 20pixels small to mimic the rest of the suite. Very time-consuming.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unfortunately, Exclaimer has not been solving the issues very well, and the first major issue has taken a few weeks of testing with no real breakthrough. We are still receiving reports of our signatures being spammed by external recipients.

 ### 18. A different way to do signatures for Google Workspace

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit P. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

It has a unique approach to how signatures are attached to emails, which adds a footer on the server-side. This allows signatures to be uniform and clean on any tool that is used, i.e. email client or web. It also means the signatures cannot be tampered with, i.e. users changing job titles or adding personal banners which are not in line with the company format. It also allows us to do mass changes with minimal effort like other products.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

There are a few large issues with this product which I hope they will have in the product roadmap. If you are using a product like an IdP to fill out user information, the directory sync fails. There are some issues with characters that are not compatible with certain services. There is a character limit of 10,000 which can cause issues for some organisations. The visibility feature is lacking some simple IF commands which you would expect in a signature software. An example is showing a logo based on a google group.

**Recommendations to others considering Exclaimer:**

Best to get a demo to make sure it fits your needs/

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product allows us to do mass changes with minimal effort like other products. We can add legal disclaimers to signature, and also helps us easily change our registered office when we moved.

**Official Response from Jacob Spencer-Fry:**

> Hi Ankit,

Thank you for your honest feedback! We are so sorry to hear about your negative experience with Exclaimer. Please know that we strive for all of our customers to have a great experience when using our products and services. We see that your main concerns are regarding the directory sync failure when using an IdP to fill out user info, incompatibility of some characters with certain services, and our visibility feature. We have recorded these issues and a member of our customer success team will contact you shortly to assist in resolving these issues.

Again, our deepest apologies for your negative experience and thank you for your feedback.

Best wishes,

 ### 19. Technical support was not great

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Textiles | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

One click surveys and the ease of ability to insert ad hoc info to customers with all outgoing mail

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The initial setup because of the lack of (quick) support help

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps maintain consistant company wide signatures as well as one click surveys

 ### 20. More hand holding necessary to implement, but when it works it's good

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It's overly complex to set up in terms of what to start with

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating signatures centrally and maintaining branding

**Official Response from David Willis:**

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

I like the accessibility - creating signatures is very easy with the drag and drop system

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

It would be nice to be able to import signatures from other versions of the Exclaimer signature managers

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synchronising signatures across the entire company without having to rely on staff to update them.

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback! We are delighted that you have had a good experience with us and you find our solution so easy to use.

The reason we can't import your previous templates from Exclaimer Signature Manager is simply because our cloud solution is built in a fundamentally different way to our legacy on-prem software. This makes them incompatible with each other.

Our template design team can help you if you need any signatures to be rebuilt though. Just contact our sales team and they will be able to help.

Thank you again for your review and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes,

Exclaimer

 ### 23. A good solution but needs to be modernized

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Once the system is in it just works, which is great. It helps to standardise signatures across the company so our emails look professional all of the time.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

I dislike the interface. It is old and clunky. It needs to be modernized and streamlined. It would be nice if you could also import signatures from outlook to save time redesigning them.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardisation and ease of use. We replaced a VBS email template setup which is clunky and takes up time creating new users, whereas now it just requires a new email and the correct details and done.

**Official Response from Paul Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your review. I'm pleased to hear you are standardising email signatures with Exclaimer.

We've been listening to customer feedback about the current user interface, and our development team are actively working on deploying a new UI.

You can access the new interface in your Exclaimer Cloud portal by selecting the green banner at the top, which reads "Want to try Exclaimer Cloud's new user interface? Click here to experience it now."

Once you're in the new UI, you'll be able to provide additional feedback, and you can switch back to the current UI at any time.

If you would like to discuss your feedback further, I'd be happy to book a call. You can always reach our Customer Success Team via email: customer.success@exclaimer.com.

Kind Regards,
Paul

 ### 24. Implementing Exclaimer Cloud Solution

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Ease of implementation and MGMT. Creating signatures is easy

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The only thing was getting a hold of the right engineer.

No "Auto Responder" functionality

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As soon as implementation completed it is a good a solid solution for Signature

**Official Response from Paul Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. I'm keen to address your issue getting hold of the right engineer and I'd like to explore that further with you directly to see what happened on this occasion.

I'd also like to discuss your requirements for the Auto Responder functionality, perhaps we can connect directly?

If you send me an email to customer.success@exclaimer.com I'd be happy to book in a call to discuss these points further.

Kind Regards,

Paul Cox
Head of Customer Success

 ### 25. Didn't work with our systems

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

We never actually got to use the product, however customer support was responsive for the most part.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

We were unable to ever get the product installed. Our IT team worked with Exclaimer's technical support and after multiple remote sessions we came to the conclusion that it would not work with our systems.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

 ### 26. Exclaimer Office 365 Cloud Signatures

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

It works across platforms (PC, Web, Mobile).

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

1) Data sync (for settings changes) only runs once a day, though you can manually kick these off. It would be better if they synced hourly or every 2 hours.
2) Better flexibility with the rules, for default signatures.
3) Exclaimer client for Outlook is a bit fidgety to support. It will sometimes revert to basic authentication vs. modern authentication and a reboot seems to be the only fix. (We are using Microsoft MFA)
4) We don't like that it shows the table boxes in the signature before sending the email.

**Recommendations to others considering Exclaimer:**

Excellent communication during roll-out is key.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a standard corporate signature, especially for remote users and mobile.

 ### 27. Easy to Use - Lack of Customer Service & Deliverability

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle A. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Easy to use. Easy to create designs without having knowledge of code or CSS. Nice user-friendly backend which is click-and-drag to create designs. Rules are easily set and you can create multiple variations. Easy setup in general. Server-side solutions. Pre-made templates are available for use.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The customer service is god awful. They send you articles for every issue - even if it is user-specific and doesn't answer your questions. This is what lead us to research for a new platform to create signatures in. Some of our customers have had trouble receiving our emails through their IT security which has been a massive problem. Deliverability is extremely important and timely for us. Certain rules are not possible.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking for a new platform because we cannot get help to solve our issues. Their team is not available for one on one help. We don't have time or patience for that.

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Dani,

Thank you for leaving your feedback. We're really sorry that you had issues with our customer service and that we have not been able to help you in a way that you have found to be satisfactory.

We take this comment very seriously and this has been escalated to our support team as a priority. Someone will be in contact with your company ASAP in order to resolve this for you.

Please know that we will do all we can to help you with the issues you've been having and we really do appreciate you being a customer of ours.

All the best,

David

 ### 28. Good idea but cumbersome execution

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Centralised email signature gives control and uniformity across the business.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Designing the signature could be better, font colours and table sizes lost when click off. The install agent doesn't always work with some Win 10 PCs, have to restart PC. Had to set up a #nosig rule to stop the signature being included in forwarded and replied emails, the option in the software didn't work.
Exclaimer had a major issue with an Azure server which impacted sending emails. We had half a day where emails were queued up and not being delivered.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prevents users from setting up their own signature versions. A consistent signature design with centralised control gives a consistent professional look to sent emails.

 ### 29. Cloud Signature

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

I like how it connects directly to Office 365

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

I've had some trouble implementing the correct designs, and also with formatting and connecting correctly to the iPhone each time.

**Recommendations to others considering Exclaimer:**

Good overall concept, have a little work to do in customer support. Had trouble contacting their team because I'm based in US and they are in UK

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Formatting signatures correctly for tablets, phones, laptops, etc.

 ### 30. Cloud subscription not as good as on premise

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Easy to manage for many users and multiple signatures. Have about 9 total signatures to use.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

The cost is crazy for cloud service. Price went up from $1000 for 3 year on premise app to $1900 for 1 year cloud based app.

**Recommendations to others considering Exclaimer:**

Be sure to look at other companies to get competitive pricing.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to deploy signature to everyone and update when needed.

 ### 31. Good product, but now discontinued

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | I.T. & Telecoms Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Great product, great support staff, keeps email signatures looking professional and consistent

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Product discontinued within two months of purchase and thus forced onto a substantially more expensive alternative, not the easiest to use design wise

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistent branding

**Official Response from David Willis:**

> Hi Paul,

Thanks for leaving a review. We appreciate the feedback you've given. If you're having any issues, please let us know how we can help.

Many thanks,

The Exclaimer Team

 ### 32. Quick, straight forward and easy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Outlook integration, making it least disruptive for businesses

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Need to re-run client side integration tool every time signatures are updated.

**Recommendations to others considering Exclaimer:**

Evaluate for few users with trial license for 1-2 weeks. You will be surprised how easy the setup would be.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing consistency among all users and ensuring they have correct information in their signatures.

 ### 33. Not bad, but overpriced for what it is

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Its a simple enough system to setup and use. Group assigned signatures is a nice touch; and the design interface has been improved somewhat over the original release.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

Can be troublesome to diagnose if/when it's misbehaving. The price is overly much for the simple service that's being offered, which is why we're moving away to another solution in the coming weeks.

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave us standard signatures and answered management's immediate need late last year.

 ### 34. Review for Exclaimer

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris V. | Customer Solutions Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Exclaimer?**

Ease of use, linking with Office365, overall email management.

**What do you dislike about Exclaimer?**

A bit difficult to change tasking and learn the software overall

**What problems is Exclaimer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it for disclaimers and linking with office365
