I use Excalidraw+ for UI wireframing and mockups for a FinTech startup. I used to do these on paper, because it's the easiest way for me to 'think and draw' at the same time. However, once I discovered Excalidraw I found it just "gets out of the way" and allows me to focus on thinking and designing, without being distracted by anything else. They are clearly laser focused on simplicity (I've seen feature requests that are (rightly) knocked back by the team, because of this focus on simplicity and speed of use). It is completely collaborative, so my clients and I have the same capabilities to draw, write, edit text boxes (which other whiteboards won't allow), and to add links. I can either export the whiteboard as a png or I can export the file and upload it again later so we can pick up from one class where we left off from the previous class. It's brilliant.
