I can see client activity. I get notifications and can send automatic notifications to my team regarding work to complete. file storage space is appropriately sized for my size business. What do you dislike about ExaVault? the tool is cost prohibitive for my size/type of business. the solution itself appears to be very solid. no issues with the operation or intuitiveness of the product. no clients have offered any complaints. however, I and some of my peers share the same client base and also use exavault in our practice. clients do get "sent" to the wrong "inbox" often. The ease of deployment and management are the best features of Exavault. Instead of having to configure clients on each PC, the web based interface has made deploying this for remote team members and employees effortless. The initial interface was a bit clunky when we started, but there have been great improvement and it the ease of use has increased dramatically since we first signed up. I like that Exavault is easy to use. The UI is very simple. I can set up user accounts easily for clients that want to use "our" SFTP to send and receive files securely. And it is easy for our back-end to be set up to send and receive files to Exavault. And you do not have to be a technical resource to be able to set up the integrations. It's great! There have been only a few instances over the years of using Exavault where there have been unexpected downtimes on the Exavault side that created issues for us sending/receiving files to/from clients. Ease of use, drag and drop abilities. Folder operations are straightforward when pruning and grafting. Has been rock solid and I've never experienced an outage (touch wood). We use some of the api and private key aspects and they were simple to set up and maintain. The special link creation with expiration is very handy for one off file sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ExaVault? The only issue I have is with really large files and the Web Interface. It is not as fast as a native FTP and/or as reliable. (I am talking 10Gb+ files). So best use a proper FTP client if doing very large transfers. Not a biggie, you just need to remember to do it when uploading say a vmware OVF template or something and letting the other end know the same for downloading it. Customer support is helpful and responsive. The web UI for adding users is simple and effective. When we began using Exavault, ensuring the data was getting to the intended recipients was of the utmost importance. Tools included minimize any questions about whether notifications were sent or transmissions were completed. File exchange has become a simple routine. Support has been excellent, and, most recently, due to subscription plan reconfiguration, live help from an Exavault representative helped us find the best plan at the least cost.
