I can see client activity. I get notifications and can send automatic notifications to my team regarding work to complete. file storage space is appropriately sized for my size business. What do you dislike about ExaVault? the tool is cost prohibitive for my size/type of business. the solution itself appears to be very solid. no issues with the operation or intuitiveness of the product. no clients have offered any complaints. however, I and some of my peers share the same client base and also use exavault in our practice. clients do get "sent" to the wrong "inbox" often. The best part in exavault is we can have easy access to every client to upload data and that too in the most secure way. The best part is we can easily access the files to our servers at best speed. What do you dislike about ExaVault? -Lots of service outages during normal business hours without advance notice which has created a lot of headaches for us, especially within the last 6 months or so. -We had to re-write a lot of API calls due to notice late last year of the deprecation of their previous API version only to later find out that they decided to postpone the deprecation of the previous version of their API, which was super frustrating. Recommendations to others considering ExaVault: Look closely at your uptime requirements and SLAs. ExaVault is a great service, but I have experienced multiple interruptions of service, especially in the recent year or so, which might not be acceptable for some organizations. What problems is ExaVault solving and how is that benefiting you? -API allows us to automatically create FTP users and corresponding folders to easily automate client account setup for file import and export automations, saving us time and dev costs. -Webhooks allow us to automatically receive notice of new file uploads so that we don't have to constantly poll for new files. Secure FTP with access to SSH Keys have provided us with all we need to automate services for our clients and their order fulfillment with our warehouse partners. The per user cost can become an issue with some of our smaller clients that want multiple users with different access to the folder structure for their integrations.
