Good but not great for secure file transfers **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2022 **What do you like best about ExaVault?** The service is easy to use and is entirely web-based. This is very important for certain companies that will not allow installation of secure FTP apps. Support is also good. The staff is responsive. **What do you dislike about ExaVault?** The pricing structure was completely overhauled and now costs much more than it used to. The one overriding factor that pushed us to their solution was that they had a very reasonably priced plan for unlimited users. That plan got pulled just about one year after we initially enrolled. If they are going to make such a huge change, they could at the very least grandfather the existing accounts. There is no method to set up zero-trust and first-time password processes. **Recommendations to others considering ExaVault:** Shop around. It used to be best value but not any longer. **What problems is ExaVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** Secure transfer of sensitive information to clients and vendors. Benefits include mostly time savings over other means of exchanging information securely. Easy web interface also saves time and training/ ### 2. User interface has a lot of white space in between list entries. This means you can see less information when looking at a list and thus there are more pages to sift through. $100/month fee. **Recommendations to others considering ExaVault:** Do you need 100% uptime? Do you have a lot of volume of files? **What problems is ExaVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** Use to be cost when it was $25/month. Now that it's $100/month not so much. Not having to maintain our own ftp/sftp site. Ideally an 'always up' server, but that hasn't been the case. ### 3.
