Getting started is fairly quick, and it doesn’t take much effort to set up within my development workflow. I use it regularly during development, which helps me stay productive and keep tasks organized. It also includes a lot of useful features that make the overall coding and debugging process smoother. I haven’t needed customer support very often, but when I do, the available resources are helpful. On top of that, it works well with different development tools, so integrating it into an existing workflow is straightforward. **What do you dislike about Windsurf?** What I dislike about Windsurf is that it can take a little time to fully understand all the features when starting out. Sometimes the interface can feel a bit overwhelming, and certain advanced options are not very intuitive. It has helped me with the tedious things I normally have to review documentation with especially commands like awk and sed when writing bash scripts. The UI/UX is very much like VSCode and that meant it took less time for me to learn the UI portion of the tool. **What do you dislike about Windsurf?** It "forgets" that I'm normally running my bash scripts from a MacBook with the BSD syntax and not the Linux. While most of the time I see the Linux syntax and fix it, sometimes it has taken more prompts to remind Windsurf. **What problems is Windsurf solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improved code generation with a focus on Terraform and bash scripting.
