What do you like best about LogRhythm SIEM?

LogRhythm provides to the security analysts the ability to perform quick drill down investigations and do deep analysis of the security incidents. The building blocks are completely intuitive and are easily editable. By simply applying drag and drop you’re able to set them however you wish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?

If you have network problems, the user interface may not work fast enough. Also, product implementation is somewhat difficult, and we faced some log parsing issues when the logs were forwarded to the LogRhythm log Collectors. We think some of its components are a bit out-of-date in comparison with other functions aimed to security problems directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:

It works perfect for correlating events, setting up alarms and managing logs from every system of your company. If your company like ours has several outlying branches, it is not a problem to deploy the platform in them as well. To see the full cost of the product, you need to properly configure the tool to the smallest detail. I would recommend you to be mentality is hierarchical, so you can find that events, incidents and alarms are very easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?

When we decided to deploy LogRhythm in our organization, we found that the cost that you get on this platform is related directly with the efforts that we want to optimize, and that's what we decided to choose it. It is used for collecting logs from several devices and it does just that perfectly. Whenever we find any issue with it, the online community is always very helpful, as it allow us to analyze the same issues that other organizations have and have solved. What do you like best about LogRhythm SIEM?

LogRhythm is one of the best SIEM solutions i have used so far. This platform combines log control, endpoint and network forensics, as well as advanced security analysis. Also, the reporting features are very helpful, allowing user to report all the logs from a server within a defined period. What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?

There are too many tutorials written, but maybe adding video content with the most common issues could work better, which is great because there is a lot of documentation, but it would take almost a whole semester of a class to go over everything and use it. Also, I’m forced to download separate software from the support portal, something that takes a lot of time and resources from my system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:

LogRythm produces solutions in the field of intellectual security and data analysis. In order to see the cost or small and medium-sized companies, you must have a fairly homogeneous environment. What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We consider LogRythm is a very helpful system for the IT department. It comes from a good company with good support, and the solution is solid overall, as it allows us to handle alarms, scripts and dashboards. In order to really get value from these platforms, we found that you need to spend a considerable amount of time and effort, as it may seem complex at first, but it will definitely pay off with all benefits you can get from it. What do you like best about LogRhythm SIEM?

When I used it for the first time, I knew it was a trustable platform because it had several positives reviews online, so the brand recognition is always a point on its favor. For first-time users with a decent knowledge about this kind of tool, it is really easy to set up out and implement, specially when it comes to identification and drill down of authentication issues, as it's able to solve each process in a couple of minutes. And, of course, it can collect logs from a large list of sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?

ILogRhythm's support team is not as good as I expected. I think it’s one of the weakest points of the product. Other than that, I only have complains about the little documentation on query building in the WebUI and the difficulties for automation, as LogRhythm is not cloud native. Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:

Regardless of the company’s size, I think LogRythm is good for Windows based compliance environments, where operators may need training or hiring with some experience. I don’t think it would be well-suited for environments with several machines, where the management overhead haves to manually add boxes to the LogRythm central. What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my company, LogRhythm is deployed as an enterprise logging solution. We use it for collecting logs from several sources, like Cisco, NetFlow and specially Windows. These logs are then analyzed, reported and used in daily operational troubleshooting.
