We manage a client's news site with multiple editors. Sometimes the editors don't optimize the images before uploading to the site. We fixed this with EWWW Image. What I like most is being able to set features and not having to worry about the size of each image. Plus, the site is lightning fast since we started using the tool. Ewww optimizer allows me to optimize images on my own server rather than on a third party server. The bulk optimization and auto resizing is a great feature. No account is required to use the plugin.
