I enjoy the free features, and being able to invite a few people to an important event. I love being able to see who has RSVP'd and the comments they've made if they're not able to come to the event. **What do you dislike about Evite?** I wish more customization features were available for free, but the paid version is worth it if you plan a few events a year! The "religious" section of invitations seems like it has limited designs/events listed. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I often only have people's email addresses or phone numbers, as part of my business list. With Evite, I'm able to send them a personalized invitation to business events, and see immediately when they RSVP so i can plan accordingly. ### 4. I also like that it allows you to ask people to bring something/sign up to bring something. **What do you dislike about Evite?** I really don't have anything in particular I dislike about Evite. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a non-profit and for some events, we use OneCause, which is a fundraising-specific platform that also allows us to manage events, registrations, auctions, ticketing, and donations. But for events that aren't that complicated and just require a simple invite and a list of who's coming and who's not, Evite works great. ### 5. If there was a direct way to make an "Evite" contact, that would be awesome. Although I don't know if that is possible.... **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Of course, sending out cards the old-fashioned way is expensive, time-consuming, and takes a long time to send. With Evite, you can send out a BUNCH of invitations all at once, reaching your audience QUICKLY. ### 7. The features you can add on are great as well, from maps to an Amazon Wish list. Many people are familiar with it, so they are willing to open the link you send. **What do you dislike about Evite?** Some of the pop ups are irritating. When you reply to an event recently you are then offered '3 free months of satellite radio' and the like and have to scroll through those offers to get back to the initial invite once you respond. That's more of a hassle than anything else as you aren't using their site to shop, but rather to organize and/or respond to an event. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Evite helps us to organize our events and get the word out to the appropriate audience. It allows ease of tracking responses and allows us to message all those who responded 'yes' should changes arise. Use of polls are great ### 8. Each time I complete an update, there is a series of "offers" - really ads - that popup and block my progress. Although i have used paid version in the past, i find that the free version is equally good. It does not require planning for events and still get a best virtual event planner. Having the app makes it even more useful **What do you dislike about Evite?** Moving my contacts from my personal directory was a bit tough. I tried various ways but not easy to transport. I love that it sends out reminders to guests automatically (unless you turn that function off) and that it shows when an invitation has been opened so you're not left guessing. I appreciate that evites can be tailored to the occasion. There is a nice selection of themes and designs to individualize the tone and feel of the party or event. **What do you dislike about Evite?** I dislike when event hosts make the guest list hidden for an event I'm attending. I personally like to know what (and who) to expect ahead of time but I understand that function also creates privacy when needed. I also dislike that it's not uncommon to find an invitation in my junkmail. I wish there was a way to ensure my evites get delivered to all my guests. **Recommendations to others considering Evite:** The standard in digital party and event invitations. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Evite solves the problem of having to manage invites by hand, phone or mail. I use this software for almost all the events, and it has new functionality such as RSVP, guest counts, etc. It is much simpler to understand the features and import email address quickly. More importantly, this software alerts the guests with reminder emails about the events and allows them to share their photos, memories after the events. Also, I like their template designs, and I would certainly recommend this to everyone. **What do you dislike about Evite?** I don’t have any cons. However, the template part can be improved. Need more fancy templates. The invitation, including the date and the time of the event, cannot be seen unless you click the link. **Recommendations to others considering Evite:** I recommend Evite to all the new users. It is simple to set, organize the meeting. You could RSVP, share food menu, etc. Above all, it is very simple to use. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall, I'm much satisfied with the Evite. Creating an account for this application was super easy as well. This makes it even simpler to respond to invites I get from my job every summer. **What do you dislike about Evite?** Nothing. This is a really good website for its intended use. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** My job uses this website every summer to send its employees invites to the pre-work required training days. It’s super easy to set up an account and RSVP for events. All you need is your email and a password that you create yourself. I also really like that it kicks back bad email addresses and saves all our past invitations. I use Evite for our professional monthly minister's networking meeting. Over 200 invitations go out once a month from Sept - June so this is a great way to keep up with email addresses, phone numbers and to see who actually responds. There are other free vendors however I stay with Evite because of these options. **What do you dislike about Evite?** The ad's that pop up when people open the Evite can be annoying and it sends the Evite to people's spam & junk. They don't see our messages especially on their phones. I love using Evite but it's time for them to listen to their customers and consider some serious upgrades in order for them to keep up with other free competitors. Evite should really consider these upgrades...option to disable the RSVP, single spacing & more font options for the host message box, the ability to upload better quality & larger pics and GIFs (it crops most of the pic out! why, why, why???) and be able have more customization options for the pic/GIF (such as combing more than 1 pic). Please add more professional looking designs, these are cheesy. I always have to design my own and that option is limited even with the Premium account so why pay?.......Please remove rid of the spam ads or put them at the very bottom so that guest can actual see the message! **Recommendations to others considering Evite:** This is a great and easy product for sending & keeping up with invitations. I've searched others but this has more features just less graphics & designs but you can customize. **What problems is Evite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to mail letter invites is perfect and using Evite really helps with keeping up with the guest list. I can sort it, copy, then paste it to a spreadsheet. When the people arrive, I can check them off on the spreadsheet I printed. After every 3 meetings, I can easily delete those that never come or reply. ### 50.
