While collecting data people used to utilize different types of software. These types of software produces data in excel and other relevant format. However, I have used execl format data to import to Eviews. In my experience, importing data form excel is not so easier in Eviews like other statistical software. e views is the very useful statistical software for time series analyze. what my final research done using E views because i could develop excellent volatility forecasting models using e views. i tried many statistical softwares for my research but finally i understood that e views is the best statistical software for time series. time series was had been helpful to me for predictive analysis, regression and many statistical things. E views data visualization is not best because it has very limited style for graphs and plots. we can't find some statistical term easily on e views relatively other statistical software. so both are the problem on me. sometimes e views require a coding. so this is the some difficult thing. I think that will be more easy by clicking, dragging and dropping. I think e views want develop for construct machine learning algorithm because some statistical software include that feature. Eviews is a user friendly tool for statistical modelling, really like the easy drag and drop of excel data into Eviews window. Powerful in terms of performing data analysis, data regression as well as forecasting. The results are often easy to interpret. The estimation has also included the method being chosen and assumption being made, which is very convenient to remind users in terms of the algorithm being used. Eviews has been used widely in educational institutions, but not in industry. Limited control over the data visualisation. Compared to other software, Eviews requires paid subscription, which is one of the reasons that there is a shift from Eviews to other open source products when conducting statistical modelling. To further conduct another piece of statistical analysis based on current estimation could be challenging. Limited support could be found online, which sometimes could slow down the process. Its ease of use. The logic behind it allows me to share its content and features very quickly when I am teaching. From the menu we get quickly to the desired features and we can slowly build expertise on the commands to get there even more quickly. For research, I like the implemented models: for time series analysis, unless one wants to code on his/her own, it is a very reliable source of getting results.
