Hi Sam, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. You’re right that Everlaw doesn’t currently show dates directly on saved searches, which can make it tougher to QC them at a glance. Today, many teams handle that kind of auditing by looking at user activity (for example, to see when specific users ran or modified searches) when they need more context on how a search was used over time. We know this isn’t as convenient as having dates surfaced right on the searches themselves, and we’re continuing to refine the search experience with feedback like yours in mind.

What do you like best about Everlaw?

Hi Tracy, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. On the search side, Everlaw does dynamically update search results as data changes, but in practice you may need to re-run or re-open a saved search to see the latest documents reflected in the results table. If you’re ever seeing behavior that looks inconsistent with that, our support team would be glad to look at a specific example with you.

On sharing, Everlaw is intentionally designed so that items like searches, binders, and other objects are only visible to people they’ve been shared with, rather than automatically showing everyone everything by default. This helps keep homepages focused and avoids overwhelming case teams with work product that isn’t relevant to them. That said, we know it can still feel like extra clicks, even with options to quickly share with admin groups or entire user groups, and we’re always looking at ways to streamline collaboration while keeping projects organized so thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

I was not familiar with the Everlaw interface prior to the summit and certification class, but the pre-course work and in person certification class was very helpful.
