I haven't used the AI features in any of my cases, but my spouse's firm recently made the shift from Relativity to Everlaw, and she spoke very highly of the AI functionality for augmenting document review capabilities. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I think the learning curve has been the biggest downside, especially when working with older attorneys or support staff who have only used competitors (or no system at all) **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everlaw helps us keep track of documents and cleanly share discoveries for teams that consist of various individuals across multiple organizations. ### 2. User Friendly Platform. Aside of the user friendly interface, most of the eDiscovery functions are already setup and made ready for users to use. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** Slowness when the database becomes big, which is a common database problem. Some tech savvy users may have surprises using Everlaw, because they use other platforms and assume Everlaw functions the same way. For better market feedback, I would suggest Everlaw to do more training to these users so they have a true understanding of Everlaw. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Everlaw for a large litigation case for data hosting, review, analytics and production. A company is defined by it's leadership that is reflected by the staff they hire to accomplish stated goals. The goals of Everlaw have had an historical affect in the legal industry that will be progressively recognized and this is what I like best about Everlaw. This company is where technology is benefitting users because the goal is to use technology to bring about the efficient use of stored knowledge of industry experts. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** Because Everlaw is groundbreaking in what it allows users to accomplish, it is important to carefully consider whether certain actions should be taken. This is not a flaw of Everlaw itself, but it is a caveat that should be kept in mind when working with such a powerful tool. Everlaw is one of the most deceptive pieces of advanced software I have had the pleasure to work with. This is meant to be a positive statement of fact in this regard; while being able to be quickly deployed, fairly easy to learn, very powerful, yet cost effective, the learning curve can be equally as steep as one wishes to delve. So, why is this paragraph in the "dislike section". I dislike not being able to be personally trained on the complete feature set of this tool... **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** From my own experience, I can confirm that the time required to create or modify datasets has been reduced dramatically—from what used to take weeks or even months, it now only takes hours. This is not an exaggeration but a personal experience produced as a test. The time saved enables more work to be accomplished in less time and this test was performed while not empowering the review team with a future feature known as "AI". ### 4. The ease of use is a significant benefit, simplifying the process of managing large scale email productions effectively. I also appreciate the seamless integration with Microsoft Excel, which allows me to keep track of datasets and metadata accurately. The initial setup of Everlaw was very easy, contributing to a smoother onboarding experience, and I am confident in recommending it to others, as reflected by my perfect score of 10 on the likelihood to recommend scale. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** Some of the grouping and tagging functions could be smoother for the new user. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Everlaw to manage large-scale email productions and document review. Being able to select the fields I want to search on by simply clicking on the color-coded buttons is extremely user friendly. Furthermore, being able to directly access the searches that have been shared me through the "Shared with me" option is way easier than the similar function in Relativity. I also really appreciate how easy it is to assign searches to my own folder so I don't lose track of them. Customer support has been great as well, anytime I have had access issues a representative has resolved them almost immediately. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** Even after sitting through an Everlaw training course, I am still very confused as to the difference between Assignments, Searches, Binders and Document Sets. The shared with me page is a little overwhelming with all of the different boxes. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a third-party consultant we normally use the Relativity sites set up by the attorneys. This is actually the first time I have used Everlaw. From my standpoint, the problems that Everlaw solves relate to the ease in identifying and archiving searches and documents for later reference. Furthermore, the integrated communications (e.g., receiving notification emails when something is shared with me) is a major upgrade from Relativity. ### 6. There are a number of search options. Depending on specific case needs, you can keep usage basic or add bells and whistles to easily place your hands on the needed documents in response to discovery and for trial. Everlaw also comes with lots of help; you can easily reach someone to answer questions and provide further insight. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** There are so many tools, it's taking me some time to learn them all. And they are constantly coming out with new bells and whistles; I'm not sure how I will be able to keep up! **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Based on the recent Q&A with Mr. Shankar, they are looking ahead at cloud management. I appreciate their commitment to security since our clients trust us with their documents and a security breach would be a nightmare. One of my favorite features when reviewing emails is that Everlaw shows the email chain and which parts of the chain are inclusive of that specific email that is being viewed. I also love the coding and temperature features. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** The hardest thing about Everlaw is learning it. They have a great database and learning center with great real time support, but there is just so much to know. I find that leanring while I am going is the best method for me, but I feel like there are always more features that I don't know about which could help streamline my process even more. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem Everlaw has helped solve is streamlining the process to review mass amounts of ediscovery. It has cut down on the review time immensley while also providing for a more thorough review of the documents with the help of coding. It helps putting documents into their own folders and ensures that nothing will ever be lost. ### 14. The sales team, customer support, and especially the training staff have been incredibly responsive and helpful in customizing our experience for our specific needs. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** There is a learning curve, so I would recommend doing a POV test run and taking advantage of the training tools during it to make sure that it is a good fit for you. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing large volume cases and files, deposition and report analysis, and translating documents into usable formats. ### 19.
