In the end we found it best once we had access to the back end and could make adjustments on our own vs relying on the eventmobi team to carry out. **What problems is EventMobi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our mandate is being able to engage alumni, and providing vehicles for them to connect with each other. An online/virtual engagement generally only offers one dimensional engagement. We opted for EventMobi to house our annual conference, and while the product was not a 100% fit with our overall objectives, we did find it easy to work with and we also received great customer service. **What do you dislike about EventMobi?** We would have liked some better analytics options. It was easy to add documents on the back end and can be updated even during the meeting. Our meeting attendees are not always tech savvy and they really grasped it and found it extremely useful. In fact, they voted to continue using the app moving forward and we now have a branded company app! Our meetings are document heavy and the app cut down the amount of paperwork and copying to almost none! I found support helpful and I like that they are pro-active in getting in touch with me and making sure it functions and runs well -- even sending out a tech support line to call in advance of the meeting! **What do you dislike about EventMobi?** Some importing templates are not always intuitive -- however support has been helpful in making sure it worked. I would like the option to set up groups within the app's attendee list once uploaded -- to then send a group a targeted alert (instead of the full list). **Recommendations to others considering EventMobi:** This is overall a great product. I needed an app that less than tech savvy users could download, find documents, and use. I also needed an app that from an administrative point of view was easy to use, had support in case I needed it, and worked well from the user standpoint. The app cut down on printing and there is no excuse now for an attendee to say they don't have what they need to be prepared! ### 13. We LOVED the Live Screens. We had them up on three big screen TVs around our event space and our members were always gathering around them. **What do you dislike about EventMobi?** The app layout while customizable is kind of generic. It makes the app easy to use but it also makes it look like many other apps. Not really a bad thing in the grand scheme of things. The integration with our membership management system, MemberSuite, was limited to polling the results of saved searches every fifteen minutes or so. Once we figured out how to make this work it is fairly powerful but there were a few times we made a change to the schedule in MemberSuite but had to wait a while to see that reflected in the EventMobi app and live screens. **Recommendations to others considering EventMobi:** I think this is a great option and even if you have something you think you like, you should setup a free trial and get a quote. I think it is critical that we regularly evaluate our partners to ensure we are still making the right choices. EventMobi has been an excellent partner for us. **What problems is EventMobi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our members really liked using the app to navigate the exhibiting space, the convention space, and keeping up with the schedule throughout the event. From setting up the app to executing the reporting, the app production is very easy to navigate. The Leaderboard only shows a few participants. I would like to see that expanded to create better sense of competition. **Recommendations to others considering EventMobi:** I recommend this app for event planning. Definitely allow them to tutor you when you first start. It's by far the best app I've used both on the planner and user side. You can add custom widgets and build in things down to local weather. You can sell sponsor banners to increase revenue and add clickable links to their websites and social media. While I'm sure we were made aware of the changes, action wasn't taken on our end until it was a borderline crisis.
