Nothing got consistent responses until we started using Evant. Now we send one text before Shabbos or an event and people actually show up. It sounds simple but for a community our size that kind of reliability is huge. The platform is easy enough that our staff picked it up quickly without much training. **What do you dislike about Evant?** Would love more template options for recurring events, we run a lot of the same programs week to week and having to recreate messages gets a little repetitive. Better long term reporting would also help us understand engagement trends over time. **What problems is Evant solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Evant our communication was all over the place. Staff were manually calling people, sending emails nobody opened, and managing WhatsApp groups that got chaotic fast. Evant brought everything into one place and took a lot of that burden off our volunteers and staff. Attendance at our events has improved and honestly the whole operation just runs smoother now. ### 2. Email goes ignored, posting on social media is hit or miss. SMS has been the most reliable way to reach them and Evant makes it easy to manage at scale. The automated reminders have genuinely helped with turnout, students get a text the day before and the morning of and we've seen a real difference. The interface is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. **What do you dislike about Evant?** There is a bit of a learning curve when you get into the more advanced campaign settings. Took me a little while to figure out the best way to set things up. Would be nice if some of the dashboard features were a bit more intuitive for first time users. **What problems is Evant solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were struggling to get consistent attendance at student events and our communication was scattered across email and social media. Evant pulled it together. We can now send reminders, track who responded, and follow up with people who didn't, all from one place. The time savings alone have been worth it. ### 3. We were doing email blasts before and maybe 20% of our members would even open them. With Evant we send a text and within a few minutes people are replying. The setup wasn't complicated and when I had questions someone actually got back to me. The automated reminders have been really useful for our events, less chasing people down manually. **What do you dislike about Evant?** The reporting could be a bit more detailed, especially when you're running multiple events at the same time and want to compare engagement. Not a dealbreaker but something I'd like to see improved. **What problems is Evant solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were managing everything through spreadsheets and sending reminders manually which took forever. Evant brought everything into one place. Registration, texting, follow ups, it's all there. Saved us a lot of time and honestly our turnout has been better since we started using it. ### 4. I would definitely use them again. **What do you dislike about Evant?** It would be helpful to have more explanation on the website of the different subscription tiers. **What problems is Evant solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our engagement rates were sky-high with the text, incomparable to email and even phone calls.
