I become very proactive and the troubleshooting is very fast with these tools. **What do you dislike about EV Reach?** Sometimes with Goverlan Reach RC, I'm unable to click on a remote computer. I need to click outside the tab of the remote computer and then come back to the remote computer to be able to click with the mouse or use the keyboard on the remote computer. **Recommendations to others considering EV Reach:** Goverlan is a great remote assistance tool. It does more. Many troubleshooting commands are integrated. You save time doing the troubleshooting. **What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?** First of all, it's the remote assistance of users. I can easily see what is going on on the remote computer. Plus, I Iove process automation. It helped me deploy/upgrade software, and it's easy to use. ### 2. I'm not a massive fan of dark purple personally - though I did not look into possible skin options just yet. In addition to that, I push out the Goverlan Agent updates to all users at once on a slow day so that way I don't have to worry about updating it later. ### 4. Price is always critical for small offices, and GoverLAN has made day-to-day tasks easier. Moving files is easy and we've started to use the remote installer for software packages effectively. **What do you dislike about EV Reach?** We find the console's reliance on DNS to make reconnecting to a PC awkward since the IP address has changed. We've found a restart of the console is necessary in that case. Also the set up of the external facing gateway server was very involved. **Recommendations to others considering EV Reach:** Please have a clear idea of what your internal and external-facing network configuration is before deciding what server/gateway build to begin. **What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to work to a greater extent with users behind the scenes without needing to interrupt their work with a direct remote session. That alone has produced more goodwill with our users. Also we find the speed of remote connection faster than our previous tool, BMC's Client Management Console. ### 15. This most notably can happen when attempting to set focus from search. There are a lot of different options to get programs installed, but they do not work as expected all the time. It has the ability to manage remote users as well, and the UI is pretty straightforward. If you're wanting to set up the servers securely, your network infrastructure also needs to be ready as it is an on-prem solution. **What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem is it has a remote desktop solution. This allows for a user-friendly experience as there is little learning curve if you have ever used Active Directory. Several other useful features is remote background Command or Powershell prompt. **What do you dislike about EV Reach?** Automation can be a little cumbersome if you are trying to uninstall products via automation, it can be a bit of a steep learning curve. **What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has made deploying software to stations a cinch.
