"A Powerful and Flexible Low-code platform"

What do you like best?

Reliance has quickly become one of my best tools in my toolbox for solving business process challenges. My customers love that I can quickly add features and reports to meet the current (or evolving) business needs without a long and costly design change project.

What do you dislike?

I find the mobile app a little challenging to use in its current iteration. I am looking forward to the release of a similar low-code solution for mobilizing forms.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I've found the flexibility and capability of the core platform is much more valuable than the out of box forms and workflows. One size never fits all, so think of that content as you would starter templates (nice to have) but not business critical. My experience has been that most of what we create is from scratch as it is faster to build exactly what we want than modify the starter forms.

Also, dedicate someone internally to learn the low-code designer mode as that will save you a ton of money and really drive value from the purchase.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We began in the EHS compliance space but as word has spread at the company, we are now involved in processes as diverse as security, purchasing (controls), medical services, and more. And the best part is that the more scale we add, the more synergies we experience and the faster we can deploy.

"We are strong proponents of EtQ and have been creative at developing business workflow solution"

What do you like best?

The configurability and flexibility of the system. Don't have to hire EtQ to develop solutions or be forced to use only out-of-the-box solutions.

What do you dislike?

The upgrades in the past have been very disruptive to the business due to the time duration. Also, there is not a dynamic FMEA/Control Plan solution (it is static). Would love to be a part of a committee to present ideas and suggestions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Other alternatives may offer attractive pricing, but you may very well be locked in to their out-of-the-box solutions or have to pay them to develop/configure your solutions. EtQ offers the ability to use out-of-the box or develop your own custom solutions.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quality/EHS compliance (as expected), but then a large variety of non-quality business workflows (Employee Suggestion Program, 6-Sigma Projects, New Product Development, etc.). The benefits have been: standardization of our processes (everyone must now do it the same way) as well as the elimination of inefficient, manual (or paper-based) solutions.

What Quality Management (QMS) solution do you use?

"Good Quality Management Software - don't over think it"

What do you like best?

ETQ Reliance contains most elements needed for a registered QMS. The similarities in form layout between applications makes it easy to adopt across many processes as the users start to see the look and feel quickly. The ease of adding company specific data and new data fields makes it easy to change as needed.

What do you dislike?

To really configure Reliance to work for your company, you will either need to invest in getting your employees trained on both Reliance configuration and also some other programming languages (Python, SQL). But out of the box it will do quite a lot. Just be prepared to spend the extra money if you want it to be just what you want.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It has given us one source of data for many operational related issues. Our management can go to one screen and see what everyone in their organization needs to be working on.

"QMS plus a whole lot more!!"

What do you like best?

EtQ Reliance was bought with the express purpose of improving/enhancing our QMS process as a whole. What we found was a host of other features that are providing value far beyond the QMS scope.

What do you dislike?

I would like a little more integration between some of the modules so there is not duplicate entry...does not happen a lot but it is there.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Use as much "out of the box" modules as possible...integration and changes take a long time. The more you can stick to the basic product the easier it will be to get up and running!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My main purpose for EtQ Reliance was having a global system for 18 facilities worldwide where we could all share our documents and procedures, view best practices, and monitor performance. We are still in the implementation phase but keep finding more and more uses for additional modules.

"Configurable and flexible platform enables deployment of quality processes with speed"

What do you like best?

The Reliance platform is highly configurable, which enables businesses to create solutions with minimal effort. There are several integration options and we are able to incorporate quality management into standard business processes operating in other IT systems. We are able to prevent defective material from escaping, standardize our quality management system and manage supply chain quality in a single application.

What do you dislike?

The least helpful aspect of Reliance is reporting and data mining. The reporting module is not useful and we've built applications outside of Reliance to display metrics. Reliance has views for data that can contain any detail from the forms, which is great. However, the download to Excel option contains header details, rather than the first row containing the column names.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Define global standard processes first. Focus the first module on a business problem with wide organizational impact.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are several problems we are solving with Reliance:

1) Prevention of escapes. In the past, there have been supplier and manufacturing defects that had escaped to customers, resulting in expensive field modifications. With a digital quality platform, we are able to ensure this doesn't happen.

2) Management of defective material through escalations has saved inventory costs. Prior to Reliance, defective material would sit around. With escalations, we are able to drive the process more urgently, saving inventory and preventing the issue of running out of material.

3) With efficient workflows, we're able to see operational productivity.

"ETQ at Carolina Beverage Group, LLC - Mooresville, NC"

What do you like best?

I love the platform ETQ provides for easy workflow/process customization solutions along with its' super easy End User interface.

What do you dislike?

Customizing the layout spacing on version 10 and older could be better suited if it were easier to adjust for field alignment.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Please request a eference call/webex with a current company using ETQ in your field. I have hosted many of these for other companies and believe it adds great context value for potential users.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ETQ has improved our ability to reduce paper usage, track process flows, and centralize documentation. Third Party Audit duration has drastically reduced due to the quick access ability to find the requested audit documents.

"Excellent System"

What do you like best?

Like the fact that all modules function the same, gives other users confidence in ability to operate. The connectivity of the various modules is also a nice feature.

What do you dislike?

I can honestly say there is not much to dislike. It does take time to get use to being able to change functionality within a module, but the longer you use the system, the better you get at it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

First software purchase that the business has made with no buyer remorse.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Less administrative cost associated with running the QMS. Risk register was ahead of it's time for ISO 9001:2015 and the new task manger and compliance calendar are nice adds.

"Great platform to work with"

What do you like best?

It is very easy to use and can easily be configured in order to meet our business needs. ETQ Reliance does not confine us to a system that everyone "must" use. Differences can be accommodated, thus making the user's experience a pleasant one.

What do you dislike?

There are many modules that can not seem to be implemented very fast enough, The mobility functionality can face issues in terms of working properly. Reporting capabilities are also missing

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a shot. You will love it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With ETQ Reliance, the issue of functionality has been solved. Flexibility has never been such easier and fun thanks to this program

"EtQ has an advantage to maintaining your QMS"

What do you like best?

Reliance allows you to fairly easily modify/configure the system to align with your business requirements.

What do you dislike?

Designing in Reliance is more complicated than I'd like but hoping this improves when upgrading to the new UX/UI.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's hard to know the right questions to ask when you are not completely familiar with the product. GET familiar with configuration options, KNOW your business processes and ASK current users what they learned from their experience.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Many of our processes have improved turn around time by implementing certain modules. Less walking around for approvals and the paperwork reduction is also quite significant.

"Great Program"

What do you like best?

ETQ is a great program to utilize if you want to consolidate your quality management systems. They will tailor a program just for your needs as well as provide amazing support in order to make sure your company benefits from their programming.

What do you dislike?

The fact that my company did not utilize their programming. I had no issues with ETQ.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Utilize this program if you are a medium to larger size company. My company I am scared was to small to utilize and reap the total benefits of these types of programs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Since we did not decide to utilize the program I am not able to answer this question. However i feel as though we would have been able to consolidate our Quality programs and create a one stop shop for our quality data.

"Flexible system"

What do you like best?

The Reliance system is extremely flexible and has allowed us to create fast prototypes of new forms and processes.

What do you dislike?

There are some pre-built exception rules that work most of the time but require more significant efforts to copy routine functionality back into those exception cases.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Reliance has allowed us to streamline dozens of undocumented processes and put some true workflow management and standardization into the process.

EtQ allows employees to efficiently access utilities associated with our quality and compliance management systems as well serving the purpose of employee training. With EtQ we are able to effectively monitor and metricize compliance throughout our organization.

What do you dislike?

Navigation through EtQ can be difficult for those with weak computer skills. Management often has to guide newer users through modules.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Deviation initiations and investigations for timely delivery.

"A complete platform for quality consistency in the industry."

What do you like best?

ETQ comes flexible with ideally group solution offerings that give a compliance edge to our business. Support and service relationship feel more like partners than just a customer view.

What do you dislike?

Our users were quick to adopt ETQ out of the box applications. They wanted more than they could consume in rolling out additional applications. Always a good place to have more demand than supply.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Be sure to have adequate staff to support the administration and manage the product for development and deployment.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are much better off in monitoring our compliance without best practices.

"ETQ Reliance Review"

What do you like best?

The out of the box settings provide a useful starting point. The system can then be relatively easily configured to meet customer needs.

What do you dislike?

Some of the system functionality is not well documented and so it is not always easy to discover how to manage settings, however the support team are excellent.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Having evaluated a number of other solutions I would recommend Reliance based on its functionality, availability of validation documentation and its potential to integrate with other systems.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ETQ Reliance has allowed our business to streamline line and improve ownership of processes. The move to electronic on line Forms and Registers has saved a significant amount of time in managing our QMS.

"Quality Database Management System"

What do you like best?

Ability to accomplish training modules, corrective actions and storage of all the defects within one software package

What do you dislike?

The interface isn't very intuitive and the display doesn't use whitespace at its best where sometimes it can be tough to navigate through because some icons are crowded.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Spend decent amount of time going through the manual to understand all the sub-modules and functionality of each of them prior to using the software

"EtQ"

What do you like best?

The interface allows for information sharing between global sites.

What do you dislike?

The interface is not very intuitive. For example, when making an entry, the "save and close" is where a submit button would typically be. This does not move the submission forward. You must instead hit the submit button at the top of the page.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
