Rewriting my meetings without missing a word. Etherpad runs on Linux, requires no installation or servers of its own, collaborative editing is stable even when several users are connected, and there's no risk of losing information because it saves previous versions of all annotations. **What do you dislike about Etherpad?** I still keep an eye out for any sign of future instability so far Etherpad works smoothly, perhaps what I'd like is a more aesthetically modern interface. **What problems is Etherpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** During seminars Etherpad makes easy for me to take and format my notes and share links without leaving the document. The fact that I can tailor each instance to my preferences allows me to prepare the wording of my presentations and technical materials for industry conferences, customizing each document according to the topic or type of analysis. ### 2. This makes it a valuable tool, especially for teams that work remotely and want to collaborate on a doc. It's lighter compared to Quip. **What do you dislike about Etherpad?** The fact that it doesn't have version history and you can't roll back to a previous version. That's where Quip has a much richer feature set and Etherpad falls short. **What problems is Etherpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're using it for online collaboration with other teammates. It helps to get real-time collaboration and feedback on documents. It's also lightweight and open-source which makes it very trustworthy. ### 3. The tool that I used is Microsoft Excel and it is better than its competitors. **What do you dislike about Etherpad?** The thing that I dislike about this software is that sometimes the network crack here. This product will be great if connection problem is being solved. **What problems is Etherpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem of open editing is done by Etherpad and it is twofold benefit for our company and is highly productive for my employers..
