I would like training to be assigned to each person individually when it is needed to be renewed. Right now it is assigned to everyone each January and it is annoying for people who may have just completed the training say, in November.

I find Ethena's dashboard for tracking campaigns incredibly effective. It is straightforward to see who has or has not taken the training, making it easy to manage. The ability to unassign and reassign training ensures seamless adjustments when needed. Additionally, Ethena makes it simple to send notifications and nudges to individuals who need to complete their training by a specified time, which is essential for maintaining timely compliance. I also appreciate the integration with Slack, which streamlines communication and ensures that reminders and notifications are efficiently communicated. Ethena's integration with our human resources information system also contributes to an easy initial setup, enhancing its accessibility and usability. Overall, Ethena provides an intuitive and effective solution for managing compliance training, complete with robust reporting and tracking capabilities.

I dislike the lack of a comprehensive view for directors within Ethena. Currently, there isn't a mechanism for a director to see whether their entire team, including managers and individual contributors, has completed training. The manager insights feature is limited to one's direct team, making it challenging to access broader team data easily. This is a frequent query we encounter.

I find Ethena's sales team incredible. They're knowledgeable and engaged whenever I speak to them. They're genuinely interested in solving our problems rather than just making a sale. Additionally, their training is great and makes staying in compliance with the constantly changing global training requirements easier for us since we have offices worldwide. The initial setup was incredibly easy, acting as a drop-in replacement for what we were using before.

I really appreciate Ethena's seamless integration with TriNet, our HRIS. This means new hires are automatically enrolled, and when someone leaves the company, they are automatically removed, significantly reducing administrative overhead, likely by a factor of three. The ease of accessing Ethena via email links has also solved issues we once had with password management and login frustrations. Additionally, Ethena's content aligns perfectly with our corporate culture, ensuring that training is relevant and appropriate. The self-management capabilities are outstanding; the manager dashboards are easy to comprehend, allowing managers to oversee their teams effectively and send reminder emails as needed. The automatic content saving every thirty seconds adds a layer of reliability we value, ensuring no progress is lost. Lastly, setting up Ethena was incredibly simple and quick, taking only about ten to fifteen minutes, which left me impressed.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

I find that the integration of modules within Ethena is less than optimal. Specifically, when transitioning from federal training to state-specific training, the process can be a bit jumpy and not as smooth as expected.

The simplicity of accessing the platform, requiring just a link for login, contributes to its user-friendliness. The initial setup of Ethena was incredibly simple, which made the transition effortless. Furthermore, Ethena's interface and management dashboards are notably better, providing a superior user experience compared to the previous system we used, Skillsoft, which did not integrate with TriNet. Overall, Ethena's robust integration and user-friendly design make it highly effective for our needs.

I would say the interaction or connection between different modules could be a little smoother. Specifically, when we have training that is federal or national mixed with something that is deployed for the specific state of the user, such as in California, the connection between the two modules seems a bit jumpy.

I like Ethena because it speeds up the onboarding process for new hires and reduces the necessary time for live facilitation of training. It helps us remain compliant with all state laws, particularly in areas like harassment prevention training. Their recent updates have allowed more personalization in building content. The notification features are strong, ensuring that assignments are completed on time. I also find the learning library to be an excellent centralized resource, which was a crucial improvement as our trainings were previously scattered across various platforms like Google Drive and Confluence. Furthermore, Ethena has saved a considerable amount of administrative time for our HR team and others involved in facilitating enablement trainings. The initial setup was easy, thanks to the team meeting with us live to ensure everything was set up smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

I'd love to see Ethena reintroduce the feature that controls what percentage of a video the learner needs to watch to qualify as completion of the assignment. Additionally, I would appreciate improvements to content assignment.

**What do you like best about Ethena?**

Ethena was recommended to me by a former colleague, and she only had great things to say. Her and I had tried moving onto Ethena at our former company and they were just stuck in their old ways. No biggie, it happens. Well, I’m now the HR Manager at a tech/social media start-up (I’m also an HR team of 1), the decision maker, and we needed Harassment Prevention Training. I knew I wanted to give Ethena a try, and honestly, I am BLOWN AWAY!!!! <--- if I could scream this from the rooftops I would.
 
I also want to share that my personal bread and butter is HRIS implementations, so I’m pretty comfortable with systems. Ethena truly has a solution for everything. I didn’t need to speak with sales since we’re only 15 employees, and within an hour I had the platform fully set up, customized the way I wanted, and ready to go. The price point was perfect (I also didn’t even look at anyone else 🤭).

I used your chat a few times and was amazed that the AI had every answer, even for some fairly nuanced questions. I did connect with a human once (Lauren Bareket), and she was so quick, kind, and helpful with her guidance.

The analytics and reporting dashboard are incredible. I’ve been in HR for 10 years and as I’m sure you’ve heard (and probably one of the main reasons you created Ethena) have used so many different training platforms, most of which are outdated, clunky, and boring. Our last LMS wouldn't mark some employees completed and we would need our employees to complete the training ALL OVER AGAIN. Can you believe that?! Ethena is the opposite…it’s clean, modern, easy, and honestly just.. refreshing.

If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be making it easier to see where employees are in their training progress. I wouldn’t call it a ‘dislike,’ just an area that could be made more seamless.

**What do you like best about Ethena?**

We have relied on Ethena for all our harassment compliance training over the past few years. It’s extremely helpful to have a reliable source of content that is consistently updated, so we don’t have to monitor changing regulations across different states ourselves. The team is excellent to work with, and the content is always delivered on time.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

The AI course builder still has some progress to make before it can compete with more established products in this field. At the moment, it relies mainly on slides and lacks the level of interactivity we would prefer. Because of this, we decided to wait and observe how the platform evolves as new features are introduced.

**What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our L&D team is quite small, which makes it difficult for us to monitor the different regulations across all the states where we operate. Managing and updating separate courses for each state on our own just isn't practical for us.

I appreciate how quick and informative the course provided by Ethena is, fulfilling our specific compliance needs when other content providers couldn't. I love the lighthearted and fun approach of the course content, which was a refreshing change from what we usually experience. The customer service from Ethena is exceptional. Specifically, Ellana, our Customer Success Manager, stands out for her amazing support and assistance. Moreover, I found the initial setup of Ethena to be very easy, simplifying the implementation process for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

It's been a consistent challenge with the compatibility between Ethena and our LMS. Ethena sends a SCORM file, and the LMS consistently recognizes people as completing the training too fast, even when they don't skip or speed anything up. When the LMS indicates they need to retake the training because they went too fast, the system won't actually let them redo it. This issue seems linked to compatibility problems.

**What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ethena provided a quick and informative course that our previous content provider didn’t have, aligning with SB553 compliance needs. The lighthearted course style and excellent customer service from our CSM make it valuable, despite LMS compatibility issues.

**What do you like best about Ethena?**

I really appreciate Ethena’s automated follow-up system, which ensures that employees are reminded until they complete their training. This feature significantly reduces my manual workload as I used to manage these tasks manually before. Additionally, I enjoy the platform’s ability to manually trigger follow-ups when needed. Ethena's system is adept at recognizing where an employee is located and determining whether they are a manager or not, so they receive the most appropriate training. The transition from WorkRamp to Ethena was made much easier due to its simpler UI, which contrasts with the more complicated interface we experienced previously. The setup process for Ethena was also very straightforward, which I found very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

I wish Ethena had better reporting capabilities. It seems like getting detailed reports might require an additional payment, even though I expect at least some general information as part of the standard platform use. Additionally, the process for setting up training is somewhat cumbersome. I have to manually set up training sessions every month, which involves activating and deactivating automatic enrollments for new employees or adjusting for employees who have completed trainings. This makes it feel more manual than I would prefer, as I had hoped to launch a single campaign where Ethena would handle subsequent trainings automatically. This monthly maintenance can be a bit of a hassle, even if it’s not a major problem, it's an area I think could be streamlined.

Ethena's good solid trainings, coupled with its automated send-out feature for new hires, are particularly useful. Overall, the effective automation and quality trainings Ethena offers are key aspects that not only meet our needs but also reassure me of the decision to consider purchasing it again in the future. These features also greatly contribute to my high likelihood of recommending Ethena to others.

One aspect I particularly appreciate is the quality of the content, especially the videos and topics related to security training, which played a significant role in our decision to switch from our previous vendor to Ethena. The setup process was very easy, and having a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) greatly contributed to a smooth onboarding experience. Ethena has been instrumental in providing relevant security training for our remote workforce by focusing on crucial topics beyond just physical security. This has led to increased engagement among employees, with noticeable improvements in their ability to report phishing, security incidents, and smishing. I also find the multiple email templates for phishing simulations incredibly useful, particularly the tech-related ones that include password resets and ChatGPT browser history. These templates are realistic, utilizing the same fonts, graphics, and language as actual applications, making them excellent real-world examples that effectively test our employees against scenarios they may encounter. Overall, Ethena's capabilities have been a great asset in enhancing our organization's security awareness and practices.

I dislike the inadequate customer support. When our contacts for phishing simulations were no longer with the company, no one reached out to replace them. The biggest upside about Ethena is the amount of time and thought they ahve taken in their HR trainings.  It treats the viewer with respect and isn't the typical dry HR training.  Sure, they can have a touch of cheesy but they aren't the typical doom and gloom type videos.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

The only issue I have had with Ethena was during our recent need to be compliant with the new Workplace Violence Prevention Program.  The video was rather vague but that I thikn is partially because CA didn't give tons of guidance about what was needed for complaince with the trainings.

We are a small People team.  Ethena allows us to pick and choose which trainings we run adn wchihc we assign as eLearnings.

That is a huge help in how we allocate our people assets.

While Ethena’s content is engaging, the platform can feel overly simplified at times, especially for users looking for more in-depth material. Customization options for admins could be more robust, and reporting features might benefit from added granularity. Still, it’s a big step up from traditional compliance training platforms.

Ethena is solving the problem of outdated, ineffective compliance training. By delivering concise, engaging, and relevant content, it keeps teams informed without disrupting productivity. **What do you like best about Ethena?**

Working with the Ethena team - these folks are highly adaptable and take feedback into consideration quickly for future enhancements to their product offering. The cost and ease of connecting with knowledgable reps has been imperative to the fast rollout within our organization. The ability for end users to navigate quickly to the resources they need is also a huge benefit. Ethena customer service is on point and we have frequent touch bases to ensure the tooling is meeting our needs.

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

Would love to see more custom reporting options and would also like the ability to limit permissions on roles and have the ability to view an audit trail of activities for users (spec ific to admin users). This will also be a helpful enhancement for future use to identify users who say they completed training (when they may have fast forwarded thru content instead). Would love love LOVE to manage and create my own reporting. Also - really impatient for the Ethena/Vanta integration that was due in July 2024. We're still awaiting this integration which will better allow us to have a holistic view of our compliance training program and reporting hotline.

**What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A dedicated reporting hotline for employees - this was a huge gap within our program previously with the prior tool not being user friendly and not effectively used. Additionally, Ethena allowed us to migrate training content from multiple LMS' which has reduced training friction amongst our employees, resulting in a higher completion rate.

**What do you like best about Ethena?**

We have been an Ethena customer for a couple of years and it has made a fairly complex space easy to implement, sustainable and scalable for any size business. Trainings? Sorted Tracking? Sorted Case Management with access levels? SORTED. I dont even have to mention that you are still able to communciate with someone who has made a report annonimouysly if they wish to receive them being my top feature. 
The one thing that truly stands out for me at Ethena though is the fact that if the trainings arent quite hitting the mark (quite rare event) they will still revise and follow through. Two of our employees have submitted feedback and Ethena's response is always 10/10 (Shout out to Erik our account rep who is so supportive to facilitate our needs)

**What do you dislike about Ethena?**

For a while we were not able to add one off employees to a recurrent training - had to be done by CSV but now they have fixed it!

**What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training completions could be improved our end but Ethena has made it so easy to cover a variety of local regulations in different areas (like harrasment prevention, Data privacy and cybersecurity) so easy without having to even worry about it - you assign the training and the platform does its thing! 
Plus, given the ATS integration it just now automated based on level rules - our managers & Senior leaders undertake management essentials and hiring and interviewing too. Love it
