"Syncfusion: Very versatile, data, event and model-centric UI widgets with excellent tech support"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

What I find most helpful about Syncfusion Studio is the thoughtful design of its UI widgets.

Each widget is built around a model that supports both local and remote data manipulation, thanks to a comprehensive set of properties, events, and the ability to intercept or override nearly any default behavior.

The inclusion of default streaming or paging for remote data within the UI widgets is especially important to me, as it streamlines handling large datasets.

Additionally, their technical support team is very responsive, quickly addressing any issues or bugs that arise.

I also appreciate how easy Syncfusion is to use and implement. I primarily work with JavaScript and TypeScript, but the same code and controls are compatible with frameworks like React and Vue.

Customizing the default CSS colors and switching between styles such as Material, Bootstrap, or Fabric is straightforward, thanks to the built-in options.

As far as frequency of use, all these features have made Syncfusion my preferred UI widget set, one that I have relied on almost daily since 2017—so for about eight years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

I would have to say, the least pleasant thing about Syncfusion are some of the omissions in documentation.

The major properties and events are described at the high level, and they started adding examples to every property, which is great. However, once you need to do deeper things, the documentation is bare-bones sometimes for more advanced functionality.

For example, some of the events' parameter descriptions are simply a repeat of the parameter name separated in the words that would constitute it, but nothing on the structure. If a parameter is both a value and a function, there is lost of times no description at all of the function variant or its layout.

They do however publish they source code, and when I need advanced things I'll either ping their tech support (which is very good) or look at the source code and find what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Functional Controls and Solid Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

The controls offered by Syncfusion Essential Studio® are very functional. It allows me to quickly implement interfaces, which is very good for creating prototypes. It meets my needs for my developments without having to resort to other similar options. The support is good, and the user forums are full of information. The initial setup of Syncfusion Essential Studio® was very simple, I even have different versions coexisting in the same development environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

In particular, the DataGrid for Blazor should be improved, as the pagination part is not entirely adequate. It works with small datasets without needing to program anything additional, but the same does not happen with larger datasets, where it is necessary to develop access to the tables and paginate. "User-Friendly, Efficient with Great Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

I like how easy it is to code with Essential Studio. The online documentation is decent, and whenever I've reached out for support, they have been very quick to respond and assist. Using the sync fusion tools, along with the nougat package, makes it really easy to code within .NET MAUI. The initial setup of Essential Studio was extremely easy for me. What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

The differences in responses between platforms. For instance, scrolling through the data grid works beautifully on Windows, but the scrolling in Android has a few lags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enterprise-Grade PDF Generation Made Simple and Reliable"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

We’ve been using Syncfusion Essential Studio for our .NET projects and honestly it covers almost everything we need, grids, charts, PDF, reporting, all inside. No need to piece together different libraries.

For enterprise apps, it really saves us quite a bit of dev time. Just plug in and go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

Some documentation sections could include more real-world enterprise scenarios rather than basic samples. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhanced my software to a modern look"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

How clean, beautiful and modern the UI components are in contrast to de build-in options from .NET MAUI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

Perhaps the documentation could be easier to understand for beginners. While I understood it quickly (as I had an stronger grasp with xaml), part of my team took a while to understand the flow of integration which slowed the team for a couple of days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Word Integration, API Key Management Needs Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

I like how Essential Studio matches the word look and feel. It seems like a Word document to the user, which is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

I don't like the way the API keys are handled, with every app having its own key but they're all the same. When you generate a new key, you cannot see the previous ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
