"Essential Tool with Powerful Components"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

I find the VUE Syncfusion components essential for delivering value to users. I particularly like the Grid and the Gantt. The listing of information and the versatility of the Grid are key points for adding value. As for the Gantt, the visualization of system processes is essential. Furthermore, the initial setup of the Essential Studio was super simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

"Powerful Angular Components, Easy Integration with AI Assistants"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

I use Essential Studio, specifically the Angular Syncfusion components, to build my low code platform. I find it works really well with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot because it can read the JavaScript and fix bugs easily, reducing the need for me to write code. The components are full-featured and pretty robust, with the diagramming component being essential for me since not many other toolsets offer that. The community edition license is really good for me as a solo developer at the moment, and I'm happy to pay for it as my team grows. The breadth of components and their capabilities are impressive; it's one of the best suites of components I've come across for Angular. The initial setup was pretty easy too, just a matter of 'next, next, next.' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

I was trying to use the sidebar component, but I ended up having to write my own because it couldn't handle having three states: hidden, docked, and expanded, so I had to end up building my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Studio’s Reliable, High-Performance .NET Component Library"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

What I appreciate most about Essential Studio is the sheer breadth and reliability of its component library across the .NET ecosystem. Whether I am building web applications with Blazor WebAssembly, maintaining desktop software in WinForms, or exploring cross-platform solutions with .NET MAUI, I can consistently rely on their high-performance controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

The initial learning curve can be somewhat steep due to the massive scale of the library, and finding solutions in the documentation for highly specific edge cases can occasionally be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Massive Performance Gains and True Cross-Platform Office File Processing with Syncfusion"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

What I appreciate most is being completely independent of Microsoft Office installations while still using a native .NET solution. Migrating my project from legacy OLE/COM Interop objects to Syncfusion’s DocIO, XlsIO, and Presentation libraries was a huge win for me. The API feels modern and stable, and it’s noticeably faster. It also finally enabled me to build a truly cross-platform .NET application that runs smoothly on both Windows and macOS, with native support for x64 and ARM (M-series) architectures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

Honestly, I don’t see any major downsides. Coming from a Microsoft Interop background, the only adjustment was a very small learning curve to map the new method names. Once I got a handle on the object model, it actually felt much more intuitive than the older COM-based approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Made My Foster Parent Site Easy to Build and Manage"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

Building Counted Doors, my resource site for foster parents, would have taken so much longer without Essential Studio. Adding the components I needed - searchable form libraries, editable checklists, and downloadable documents

was straightforward enough that I could focus on the content instead of fighting the UI. Foster parents can actually find what they need quickly, which is the whole point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

Nothing yet. I haven't found anything to dislike yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Document Generation with Easy Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Essential Studio?

As a solo software developer, I needed a way to generate Word, Excel, and PDF documents on the server. Syncfusion provided an effective solution for this. The APIs are easy to use, the documentation is reliable, and I was able to integrate document generation into my web application within a few hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential Studio?

To be honest, there isn't much to mention. Initially, I was a little confused by the number of different NuGet packages available—there are quite a few, and it took me some time to determine which ones I actually needed. However, after I figured that out, everything ran smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
