AGOL is a comprehensive and easy to use package which can be picked up 'straight out of the box'. If you are struggling to switch over from Arc Map then the customizable toolbar in pro can easily be tweaked to meet your needs. My work flows tend to be bespoke, and the tools I need to use from ESRI (outside of Advanced Desktop) are always changing. It would be GREAT if I could use credits (or some other payment option) to use specific tools/extensions for a very short/time limted duration. Like--- could I buy Spatial Analyst/Business Analyst, etc etc etc for a month? Because I only need it for one project this year, may or may not need it again. Could need it again in a few months, or maybe the year after, or maybe never again. I have no ability to anticpate software needs based on how I provide GIS services to my organization.
