For ESET PROTECT, the on-premises ERA does not cover application patch management. We subscribed and then needed to cancel because of this, so there is definitely room for improvement. Additionally, the initial setup was really challenging. Onboarding takes significant time and the learning curve is fairly steep. I really liked that it came with the OS and therefore I didn’t have to spend one whole week deploying it. The kusto query language scripting is great for finding weird stuff once you get good at scripting. I hate this product the most because the licensing model is so complex and I would probably need a phd to be able to determine what I’m paying for or what tier provides what feature set.
